Ich habe Wut im Bauch. Weil solche Sprüche heute really immer noch gebracht werden - im September 2020. Der Tweet zeigt auf den Mental Load, generell die Care-Arbeit, die Mütter in Hetero-Ehen meist selbstverständlich übernehmen sollen - weil Väter aus diversen Gründen abwesend sind. Er soll sichtbar machen, wie prekär die Situation von verheirateten Müttern ist, die sich oft nicht nur um die Kinder kümmern, sondern auch den Haushalt schmeißen und teils dazu noch arbeiten gehen. Ja, das ist eine ganze Menge ungesehener Arbeit und ich bin dafür, dass darauf aufmerksam gemacht wird. ABER wozu braucht es diesen überspitzen und unhaltbaren Vergleich mit Alleinerziehenden? Das Problem an solchen Aussagen ist, dass sie die Situation von Alleinerziehenden unsichtbar machen. Warum? Weil sie aus der Perspektive von verheirateten Müttern erzählen: Welches Bild entsteht da? Das einer verheirateten Mutter, deren Mann die meiste Zeit auf Arbeit ist - und da gehts schon schief. Denn: 🔥 Alleinerziehende haben eben keinen Ehemann, der arbeiten geht und Geld nachhause bringt, während sie care-arbeiten. Nein, sie haben nur das Geld, das sie selbst erarbeiten. Und leider können Alleinerziehende sich nicht teilen, weshalb sie Lohn- und Care-Arbeit nur nacheinander leisten können statt gleichzeitig. Ergo: Sie arbeiten rund um die Uhr. 🔥 Alleinerziehende müssen zudem wesentlich öfter in Vollzeit arbeiten als verheiratete Mütter (für sie bietet sich wg dem Ehegattensplitting öfter der Teilzeitjob an). 🔥 Alleinerziehende müssen ihr allein erarbeitetes Gehalt in Steuerklasse II höher versteuern als verheiratete Eltern mit dem Ehegattensplitting. 🔥 Und wenn das Geld weg ist, hat die Alleinerziehende keinen Partner, mit dem sie abends zusammensitzen kann und sagen kann: „Wir kriegen das schon hin.“ Es gibt ja nur sie. 🔥 Alleinerziehende sind wesentlich öfter von Depressionen und Burnout betroffen als andere Mütter.
