Happy #FirstDayofFall! 🍂🍁 Who else is loving this weather? 🙌 We are celebrating with Claude Monet’s “Autumn on the Seine, Argenteuil.” Monet executed this painting of the Seine near Argenteuil, northwest of Paris, shortly after his arrival there in 1871—likely from the small boat he had converted into a floating studio. He included the Château Michelet and other recognizable architectural landmarks. The small, delicate brushstrokes identify this work as belonging to the “high” phase of Impressionism. On this last day of #pridemonth I wanted to send all the love in my heart to our friends in the LGTBQ+ community. 🌈 As I have educated myself on the Stonewall Riots and the 50+ year history of this movement I am inspired because although we have further to go, I am so encouraged by the change that has occurred in my lifetime. 🌈 We can’t be complacent (see the latest Supreme Court case) nothing is taken for granted, but progress and change are possible. 🌈 I hope that in 30 years my children can reflect on how far we have come from today both for the LGTBQ+ and Black community. 🌈 Thank you all for showing us what strength comes from love and authenticity. Before August of this year, I hadn’t ridden a bike since I was 6 years old. It’s always been something I wanted to pick up again, but just never took the time to make it happen. I decided there was no excuse with so much free time in 2020, and when I found this vintage Suburban Schwinn online I fell in love.⠀ ⠀ With the help of a good friend (and bike aficionado) I got back on the road, and I was actually surprised at how quickly riding came back to me! Сегодня 9 месяцев как мы встретились на первое свидание! 💘 . Тогда мы проболтали 10 часов, а далее Он проявил всё своё мужество, заботу, ласку и любовь в завоевании меня! Не каждый смог бы иметь такое терпение и осилить этот путь! 🙈 Только Он, кто реально влюбился и всем сердцем захотел быть со мной! Лучший добытчик! Ведь я была такой колючкой вредной, а Он просто совершал поступки и действия каждый день! Я пропадала, гасилась от встреч, говорила, что если «кто-то пригласит на свидание, то пойду» , что мы «просто общаемся...» Но в тоже время я душевно общалась и мне очень нравилось быть с ним рядом. А он не останавливался и без напора, напряга, приторности делал мне приятности, ничего не требуя взамен! Тогда я не хотела пока ещё отношений. Я кайфовала от состояния свободы. Кайфовала ,наконец таки, от жизни без удушья и давления. Была очень внимательна и осторожна к тем, кто пытался войти в мою жизнь после горького опыта) Поэтому и не впускала так просто в свою жизнь! И тут случился переворот! Я с самого начала была прямолинейна и говорила так, что ,порой, может не совсем приятно и не корректно, но зато честно! С самого начала была такой какая есть, без преукрас, пыли в глаза и тд... Наоборот всё что может быть дурацкого в поведении- это было на начальном этапе))) Но он всё равно покорял меня каждый день! В нём с самого начала я почувствовала мужество, уверенность, искренность, смелость параллельно с лаской, заботой, нежностью! Оказалось столько всего общего в интересах, хобби, взглядах на жизнь! Мы ровесники, но я до сих пор удивляюсь какой он человек. Его знания, умения,достижения, отношение к родителям, девушке, к друзьям... Такое сочетание в нашей жизни редкость (а жаль...) С самого начала у него было только «Мы», «Наше»... 🙏🏼 Я вредничала, говорила, что хватит мне нежностей и такого отношения, не нужно ... А в глубине души я была так счастлива и с каждым днём я понимала, что именно такого Мужчину и хотела рядом! Я говорила себе : «Забава, тебе же приятно. I adore the kids we work with. They keep me smiling. Tomorrow I have a program with @shermanlibrary I get to share music and stories with kids and families that teach and entertain. This weekend I’ll sing outdoors. These things don’t always keep the uncertainty and darkness at bay, but they help me carry on, and remind me to do what I can, when I can. 📜Titolo: Sentiero alberato in autunno 👨🎨Autore: Hans Andersen Brendekilde 🕰Anno: 1902 🏛Ubicazione: Collezione privata . H.A. Brendekilde è stato uno dei più celebri pittori danesi a cavallo tra ‘800 e ‘900. La sua carriera si incrocia con quella di L.A. Ring, pittore che ho presentato la scorsa settimana. I due giovani artisti, entrambi di umili origini, convissero a Copenhagen e per evitare di essere confusi, chiamandosi entrambi Andersen, si diedero il nome del paese di origine. Brendekilde, formatosi come scultore, si dedicò al realismo sociale, mettendo al centro dei suoi dipinti le condizioni disagiate dei lavoratori. L’artista espose tra gli anni ‘80 e ‘90 dell’Ottocento, in diverse mostre di respiro internazionale entrando in contatto con i maggiori pittori del proprio tempo ed influenzando i più giovani Mønsted e Fischer. Il dipinto che ho scelto mi sta a cuore perché è stata per alcuni anni l’immagine della pagina 1000quadri su Facebook (dal 2011 al 2015 circa; qualcuno lo ricorda?). Il quadro è una straordinaria rappresentazione dei toni dell’autunno realizzata con una tecnica tipicamente impressionista. Il pittore con piccoli segmenti di colore giustapposti, costruisce il bellissimo tappeto di foglie che coprono un piccolo viale alberato. Sopra il sentiero si allungano scenograficamente i rami degli alberi che raggiungono un fiume che scorre tranquillo sul lato destro. I colori dell’autunno sono declinati con maestria, dai marroni, ai gialli dorati, ai verdi. Accanto a questo piccolo miracolo pittorico, assistiamo ad una curiosa scena di genere. Seduta su una panchina, una donna elegante vestita di nero e con un ombrello sulle ginocchia, si volta a guardare due giovanotti che si allontanano.
