Zusammen konstruierten die beiden damaligen Formel-1-Partner den Mercedes SLR McLaren auf Basis des Mercedes SL55 AMG. Am Ende rauften sich die beiden zerstrittenen Unternehmen zusammen und heraus kam mit dem Stirling Moss-Sondermodell einer der extremsten und seltensten Roadster aller Zeiten. Er hatte kein Dach, keine Klimaanlage und keine Windschutzscheibe. Was er hatte, war abgedrehtes Retro-Design, das an das 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé von 1955 erinnern sollte. Il prezzo è su richiesta e va aggiunto al valore dellauto donatrice, una Ferrari F12berlinetta. Debutterà al Salon Privé di Blenheim Palace, una location esclusiva dove Touring vuole creare unideale linea evolutiva dalle prime auto affusolate degli Anni 30 del secolo scorso fino agli anni 50 e alla recente Disco Volante del 2012. Il colore Rosso Stratosfera è ripreso dalla Disco Volante, la pinna posteriore invece caratterizza lo stile di questa Touring Aero 3 che sotto il lungo cofano nasconde il motore 6.3 V12 da 740 CV. L’abitacolo è ricco di dettagli rossi, pelle Foglizzo, il nero e la fibra di carbonio opaca e lalluminio nero, lucido e opaco. La carrozzeria è interamente in fibra di carbonio poggia sul telaio dellauto donatrice. Il motore è un V12 6.2 aspirato da 740 CV e 690 Nm, posizionato davanti e abbinato alla trazione posteriore attraverso un cambio sequenziale elettro-attuato a 7-velocità con paddle-shift e modalità automatica.
