No fue posible. Primero que todo quiero agradecer todo aquello que aprendí de ustedes. En la Zona di mis primeros pasos en Chile. Y agradezco a todos aquellos que pacientemente fueron ayudándome a comprender la idiosincrasia de nuestra gente y de nuestra Iglesia con todas sus grandezas y limitaciones. Die Urlauber konnten in Emhof übernachten, wurden verpflegt und schließlich fuhr Albin Koller die Familie samt Fahrrädern zum Bahnhof. Mittlerweile ist der Schock vorbei und die Freude groß. Hace casi tres meses con @somosuniversomusicaok ideamos el primer curso Línea de Tiempo sobre el desarrollo histórico de distintas corrientes musicales, desde su nacimiento hasta hoy. No solo el curso superò nuestras expectativas sino que fue creciendo hasta tener en este último mes (donde estamos viendo la Línea de Tiempo del Rock Argentino) 75 personas anotadas con las cuales nos encontramos todos los jueves vía Zoom para compartir, escuchar y hablar de música. Y la verdad es que se creó de la nada un hermoso grupo de gente receptiva, divertida, inquieta y súper atenta a todo, auto bautizado como Lxs Manija por su espíritu de búsqueda musical insaciable. Como ejemplo no solo de la buena vibra que se generó en el curso sino también como resultado de este espacio especial que construimos entre todxs, tuvieron para conmigo y Marcelo (mi compańero) el fantástico gesto de hacernos un regalo en este dia. Quería compartir con ustedes la felicidad que tengo por todo lo que estos talleres están generando y que incluso van más allá del conocimiento y la experiencia. Compartment syndrome is a medical emergency and it needs to be recognized early. A similar situation may occur when an IO cannula is deployed in the wrong position or dislodged during the treatment. That is why you would want to make sure your IO device is in place. There are several ways to verify IO placement: 1. Check for aspiration of bone marrow 2. Flush and watch for swelling 3. Are the medications injected via the IO taking effect on the patient? 4. If available, bedside doppler may be effective in correct position confirmation. It may occur when the cannula is dislodged from the bone or over penetrated it. Il mulino di mio nonno giaceva sul fondo del lago, quasi perfettamente integro dopo tutti gli anni passati sott’acqua. Un sottile strato di fango rappreso ne sfumava i contorni, e io lo guardavo come si guardano certe antiche fotografie in seppia, con un misto di meraviglia e rimpianto. Proprio in foto lo rivedo ora, sfocato, misterioso e negli stessi toni dell’ocra. L’immagine che ho appeso alla parete della mia stanza lo immortala però da vivo, con le pale tuffate nella corrente e un mulo accanto, caricato del frutto del suo ostinato lavoro. Quel giorno, dalla sponda del lago, lo osservavo invece silenzioso e inerte. Mio nonno materno era mugnaio, Mulinèr in dialetto Cadorino. Si chiamava Tabacchi, come buona parte degli abitanti della frazione di Sottocastello a Pieve di Cadore, il mio paese di nascita. Tabacchi Pio Luigi: il nome che ho ereditato. Con i suoi ricordi di bambino, contenuti nella sua autobiografia, Lamore non basta, da poco edita per @giuntieditore, vogliamo festeggiare Luigi Ciotti. UPDATE on Israel 💚 • Israel is slowly but surely making progress. He’s sitting up in a wheelchair everyday. He’s been able to go outside for the first time this week. He also is able to push the wheelchair with his one good hand! • He has a long journey ahead of himself and a lot of healing to do. The doctors and nurses have his pain regulated. He’s being moved to Health Bridge Children’s Hospital for physical therapy and rehabilitation. • Thank you for all your prayers and support. It’s been difficult but the baby helps bring so much joy to our family. Israel should be able to see his sisters and niece very soon! Please pray that he would be filled with joy. Today’s case is this crazy infection! This young 22 year old male developed necrotizing fasciitis, which caused this massive debridement to try to control the infection. . Nec fasc is a SCARY infection, due to the rapid spread through the tissue. It is normally caused by a polymicrobial organism (multiple bacterial organisms) and it’s important to start broad spectrum antibiotics ASAP. If the infection is unable to be controlled, a debridement, like pictured above, is anther control measure. However, if the rapidly spreading infection cannot be controlled, the lose of limbs could be eminent. An even worse outcome would be the infection spreading systemically causing multiorgan failure due to sepsis resulting in death. This is why if you’re concerned for nec fasc, you promptly want to order the proper tests/imaging and if possible, get a surgeon to lay hands on the patient to get their input! . How it starts is can be something as minor as a small break in the skin. The horror stories you hear is “they had a cut on their foot and they got a pedicure, causing the entry of bacteria and development of nec fasc.” You also may be seeing the spike in stories in the news where people are swimming in areas that have high concentrations of certain bacterias that cause nec fasc. Those people enter the water with a small cut on their extremity which is an entry point for the bacteria. In this case, it seems like he had a laproscopic surgery and the incision site (below the belly button) dehisced (opened up) and got infection. This may have been an entry point for the bacteria to spread to his right leg and scrotum. . With all this being said, THIS IS VERY RARE! So don’t stop swimming or getting your pedicures because this image may scare you! Chances are you won’t be the 1/1000000 and you’ll make it through life without even coming close to being diagnosed with nec fasc! - @trauma_time on Instagram

NEURO COMPROMISE 4. COMPARTMENT SYNDROME: can lead to vascular compromise, neuro injury or necrotic tissue. Risk of cellular destruction and hyperkalemia. 5. HIP DISLOCATIONS (not if prostetic) 6. OSTEO/SEPTIC JOINTS 7. PELVIC UNSTABLE FRACTURE: risk of serious vascular/neuro injury. May be life threatening bleeding. Place a pelvic binder. Will need examination of vaginal vault, male genitals, and/or rectal exam. May need massive transfusions and interventional radiology intervention. Екатерина Сергеевна - учитель высокой методической культуры, в совершенстве владеет базовым компонентом преподаваемого предмета, ведёт большую внеурочную работу с учащимися, вовлекает их в спортивные секции по баскетболу и футболу, проводит школьные и городские соревнования. Педагог разработала и внедрила в образовательный процесс в школе программу внеурочной работы Общая физическая подготовка, которая рассчитана на весь учебный год. В неё вовлечены все учащиеся 6-9 классов. Данная программа является тем стержнем, который сплачивает коллектив, даёт возможность детям реализовать себя в различных спортивных соревнованиях и показывает преимущества здорового образа жизни. Entertainer-Legende @frankzander_berlin (78) kämpft weiter um seine Wohnung. Aber wenn es weiter so schlecht läuft, dann will er raus aus dem Chaos-Haus. Zanders Zorn richtet sich gegen den neuen Hausbesitzer. Der Künstler wohnt dort seit 53 Jahren mit seiner Frau Evy. Vier Treppen, ohne Fahrstuhl, direkt unterm Dach, 3000 Euro Miete. Zander dazu: „Von dem Geld, was wir in 50 Jahren gezahlt haben, hätten wir uns längst eine Villa kaufen können.“ Fast vier Jahrzehnten hatte Zander auch den Dachboden über der Wohnung dazu gemietet. Seine Bühnenanlage stand dort und sein Atelier (Zander ist studierter Grafiker). „Dann mussten wir in Windeseile den Boden räumen, weil der neue Hausbesitzer aus München den Dachboden ausbauen lässt. Von Wohnraumbeschaffung ist die Rede, aber hier entstehen keine Sozialbau- sondern 800 Quadratmeter Luxuswohnungen.“ Bis dahin: Baulärm. Zander entdeckt immer neue Schäden: „Jetzt kam bereits Wasser durch die Schlafzimmerdecke. Das Büro ist auch nass, eine Lampe kam runter, in der Nebenwohnung die halbe Decke. Muss man erst erschlagen werden?“ Zwischenzeitlich hatte er einen Baustopp erwirkt. „Aber sie machen weiter.“ Von Behörden und Politik fühlt sich der für sein Obdachlosen-Engagement geehrte Entertainer im Stich gelassen. „Ich schrieb dem Bürgermeister – keine Antwort. Wohl zu heikles Thema. Also gehe ich er an die Öffentlichkeit. Das ist meine Waffe, welche denn sonst?“ Zwei Jahre Bauarbeiten sind geplant, täglich pünktlich ab 7 Uhr. Zander: „Die vertreiben uns. Es gibt keine Lösung außer auszuziehen. Wir haben zwei Rechtsanwälte, aber die haben fünf.
