rowan coughed so hard his NG tube came out of his throat...but he’s still smiling because we got the best news today! rowan has progressed so much in the last week that we are holding off from any procedures or operations on his heart. instead, he is now scheduled for surgery to officially get a g-tube in his stomach! it is too hard on rowan’s body to learn how to eat while he still is learning how to breathe. the g-tube will allow him to get his feedings safely (no longer coughing or pulling the NG tube out from his nose) and is one step closer to getting him home. this little punk is an absolute fighter & i’m so proud. despite everything, he’s still smiling. that’s who i wanna be. 📷: @lil.rowan #NICUAwarenessMonth . Esse mês tutui e papai começaram nossa criação de galinhas, e ele amou, decidimos registrar esse momento. Hoje comemoramos 6 meses do nosso cisquinho, 6 meses que não durmo noites inteiras, que meu cabelo vive amarrado, e dificilmente passo uma maquiagem, mas também fazem 6 meses que sinto o cheirinho mais maravilhoso, o sorriso banguela mais gostoso...fazem 6 meses que conheci o maior amor do mundo! I’m all about finding the silver linings in things! When we were looking forward at the beginning of 2020, we talked about all the places we would travel with our baby boy. Since plans have changed due to travel restrictions and health concerns, we looked around and realized we can give our son fun new experiences that feel like travel right in our own backyard! We have embarked on a series of “staycations” around the @palmbeachesfl and it’s been amazing. Recently we stayed at @hiltonwestpalmbeach and had a wonderful experience. Whenever we do overnights in hotels, we try to book a suite so we can continue our nighttime routine as we would at home and there are no disruptions to our regularly scheduled sleep 😴! @hiltonwestpalmbeach has beautiful rooms and suites to accommodate any type of trip. There are 4 restaurants on site including @galleywestpalmbeach which is a local spot that is open to the public and has a great daily happy hour. The pool is massive and there is plenty of space to socially distance and catch some rays. You can even rent a private cabana and order drinks and food by the pool if you’re staying a while. The hotel is doing a fantastic job during the pandemic and keeping everything sanitized and safe. All staff and guests are masked inside the hotel and there are hand sanitizer dispensers around every corner. We felt super safe and at home during our stay. If you’re looking to get outside and see some of @downtownwpb you can walk directly across the street to @rosemarysquarewpb which was recently given the most beautiful facelift. There are tons of shops and restaurants and photo oops within walking distance. Around the corner is @grandviewpublic if you’re hungry and looking for some live music, or even a morning yoga class. West Palm Beach has so much to offer as a tourism destination or a night away for local families like mine. Derniers miles avant d’atteindre le fameux 1 an post-partum. 😳👶🏼 Je vais aller « straight to the point » avec toi, je déteste (lire ici DÉ-TES-TE) la pression qu’on met aux nouvelles mamans de retrouver leur « shape d’avant bébé » ou un certain « body goal ». Je déteste aussi ces termes by the way. 😜 Tu veux savoir la vérité - la vraie de vraie ? 👉🏼 Non - je n’ai pas atteint ma shape d’avant grossesse. 👉🏼 Oui - j’ai encore des vergetures, de la cellulite et de la peau molle. 👉🏼 Non - je n’ai pas le feeling d’avoir retrouvé toute ma force et mon endurance. SO WHAT ? Évidement que j’avais dans la tête de revenir en forme après l’accouchement, mais sans aucune pression négative d’atteindre un certain standard ou de revenir comme « avant ». 💁🏼♀️ Je vais te dire une autre vérité : dans la dernière année j’ai réellement compris ce que mes saines habitudes de vie m’apportaient. 🙏🏼 Il y a un petit moment weird après l’accouchement où tu dois t’habituer à TOUTES ces nouveautés, au manque de sommeil avec en prime le sentiment d’être étrangère dans ton corps et dans ta tête (thanks les hormones 😅). J’avais HÂTE de me retrouver en tant que femme. De me sentir en contrôle en tout point et de me sentir bien à nouveau dans mon corps. De retrouver une certaine performance dans mes entraînements, d’avoir plus d’énergie, d’être confiante dans mon nouveau corps & rôle. J’avais hâte de me retrouver MOI. 🤍 ... et c’est ce que le fitness m’aura apporté. 🙌🏼 Alors je vais encore y aller straight to the point : OUI je me sens bien. OUI je suis fière de moi et de mes progrès des 12 derniers mois. OUI j’ai vécu de belles victoires. OUI mon mindset est plus fort que jamais. OUI je vais continuer à toujours pousser plus et à trust the process. Our power wasn’t working correctly and upon arriving to our first campsite we plugged in the power and our TV started smoking. So that was fun. Andrew figured it out and now it’s running tip top. Then, Dot June woke up around 2:30AM crying and I realized it was freezing in our RV! My poor Tootums was so cold, so she got to come sleep between mom and dad which was difficult because she does not love covers or snuggling. She finally settled with sleeping the opposite direction from us 😂😂 when I asked her in the morning if she’d snuggle with me she kept shaking her head no! The furnace still doesn’t work, BUT we have some space heaters and we’re making it work! The interior looks amazing though. I’ll take picture and show you. ( делать нечего😂) и если вдруг я пропустила один день - все. Конец Света. Можно было плакать. Я вечно куда - то спешила, в итоге часто все было через одно место 😑 ⠀ Осознание пришло не сразу конечно, но все же пришло! ⠀ Сейчас каждый день продуктивен. Но я могу позволить себе отдохнуть в середине дня:) Я вечно в движении. Помимо работы, свои тренировки, тренировки детей, хобби. Но это все в ином формате. Вы понимаете о чем я ?) я не парюсь, если где - то, что - то идёт не совсем так. Ну почти 😅 ⠀ А самое главное ... Весь этот год я встаю по будням в 6 утра, а ложиться стараюсь до 10 вечера. A woman could be a dependent to a male serving in the military but a man could not be a dependent to a woman serving in the military. . My mind is literally blown thinking about those cases and that they were not unanimous votes. Il mio amore quando aveva ancora i capelli ed era vispo e felice 😍 ➡️ Audio ON Oggi secondo vaccino per Edo 🙈 Tornati a casa pareva tutto tranquillo anzi giocava e scherzava, dopo la poppata ha fatto il suo bel riposino dalle 14.00 alle 17.30 Svegliato era un po’ lamentosetto e insustosetto anche se in braccio e caldo, quindi gli ho misurato la febbre ma non ne aveva, ma ho deciso comunque di dargli la tachipirina per supposta (il medico mi ha consigliato di dargliela in ogni caso anche se pareva disturbato senza avere febbre). Ora ha poppato e si è addormentato tra le mie braccia, ho provato a metterlo giù nel suo lettino, ma è durato poco e ora è con noi nel lettone a fare le coccole♥️ Staremo a vedere come andrà questa notte...speriamo non gli salga la febbre 🤒 e di non fare la notte in bianco...anche se con la tachipirina dovrei averla scongiurata... Al primo vaccino invece al pomeriggio mi aveva dormito pochissimo, verso sera era lamentoso ma dopo la tachipirina si era tranquillizzato e mi aveva dormito tutta la notte, ma..si sa ogni giorno è a sè Però mi piange il cuore ogni volta vederlo così 😭♥️ Voi mamme come era andato il secondo vaccino dei vostri bimbi? She relishes in activities that involve stacking, sorting, puzzles, and anything that sparks her smart little brain. Her favorite books involve Frida Kahlo, Keith Haring, bell hooks, and of course Sesame Street. . Rosalia keeps us on our toes with how incredibly intelligent she is. Each day she activates some new skill or level of understanding. . We try to give Rosalia a balance of freedom and structure and guidance. We want Rosalia to have gender-full options and limitless ways to express herself as she grows and comes more into her own. . Parenting is deeply challenging. Parenting during loss and grief and global pandemic even more so. But everyday @ketchwehr shows endless resilience, generosity, care, joy, love, and magic to help make this time as brilliant as possible. I’m immensely grateful we have this prism of love during such a brutal year. 🌈 . Being a mother is so, so much better than I ever thought it would be. I didn’t always want it, and I was terrified. It was horrific and shocking. So many of us never saw our loved ones again. Time passes life goes on but that grief never goes away. Well that’s the end of the longest school holiday they’ll (hopefully) ever have! We ended the summer with an afternoon at Llansteffan, which Santi has declared his favourite beach. It is a fab little place - there’s a castle up on the hill, the beach overlooks Ferryside and Pembrey Country Park, and there’s a chip shop, tea room and toilets in the car park. The boys made friends with three brothers and played for hours with them, making dams, digging lakes and building capital cities. We eventually had to drag them away as it was getting chilly in the shade (and, you know, we needed to do the whole back to school bath and bed routine 😬), but before heading home, we bought chips from Florries and ate them overlooking the sea. Desmame, queira contar para vocês que está sendo muito difícil, muito mesmo, já estou tentando há um mês. Faz uma semana que consegui tirar o peito durante o dia, ela mama as 8hs manhã e as 21hs para dormir, intervalo com mais de 12 horas, acontece que ela continua acordando de hora em hora na madrugada para mamar e isso tem me esgotado. Acordo com o peito machucado, cansada, acabada por não dormir, mas preciso ter energia para cuidar dos três e trabalhar. No desmame do Enzo foi mais fácil, ele tinha quase 2 anos e entendia melhor, coloquei esparadrapo no peito e disse que estava dodói, no segundo dia nem pediu mais. Com a Micaella eu tive que tirar de um dia para o outro pois tive uma bactéria, Helicobacter pylori e precisei tomar medicações fortes. Mica tinha um ano e meio, usei a mesma tática do esparadrapo, mas ela chorou muito por uma semana. Mas ela aceitou super bem o composto lácteo, gostou de tomar. Nicolle come muito bem e de tudo, por isso foi fácil tirar o peito de dia, mas a noite não estou conseguindo. Me contem como vocês fizeram. - @mischwez on Instagram

I feel tired, guilty for feeling uninspired. Since becoming a mother, I haven’t felt my ‘self’. I have been feeling more emotional, less able to deal with stress and not as connected to spirit. My energy has been lower for obvious reasons, birthing and breast feeding a baby takes a lot from your vital resources. I am still finding it hard to become selfless, the sacrifice of being a mother is huge. I miss my mornings of meditation, reading, journalling, exercise and eating breakfast. Don’t get me wrong I am incredibly grateful to be a mother and I would do anything for my son. Though it’s not easy; the sleepless nights, the brain fog, the mess, the endless devotion that I have signed up to for life. It’s certainly testing, perhaps if I wasn’t a workaholic and so hard on myself if would be easier. Though I love Loco Love and becoming a mother has made me realise how much I have put into that company. I have put SO much of my soul in their, pretty much all of my time and most of my thoughts. Now Lennon is my number one priority and I often wish I had a double. I understand now why a lot of great artists, writers and singers never have children. For me personally I struggle to balance it all. I worry if I have more children will I be totally unable to pursue anything outside of them? I have read that when women become mothers they develop new brain cells, though it takes them a while to adjust to them. I certainly feel this, the mother superpower hasn’t quite set in yet. I bow down to all mothers, you are so strong, you are exceptional and I am going to believe this of myself also. Happy mothers day! TIPS for surviving the 1st trimester when you’re chasing a tot: 1️⃣ Don’t beat yourself up! Accept that you will just NOT be an overachiever right now. The priority is your health and wellness and the needs of your growing family. 2️⃣ Try to encourage your tot to be independent. This is easier said than done (obviously) but with D I would set up a play area and he’ll just play on his own for a little which gives me time to breathe and a moment of rest. 3️⃣ Nap whenever possible. Even a snooze as short as 20 minutes helps! 4️⃣ Don’t be shy to enlist help. Ask your partner or family members to spare some time to take your little one out so you can rest. This is so important! 5️⃣ If you can check off things on your to-do list by online shopping then by god DO THAT 🙏🏽🤣 Save yourself from running around and expending energy! 6️⃣ Find ways to play with your babe so that you are able to sit comfortably. For example, find activities to do where you can lean back or sit on a chair or couch. It will save your back a lot of pain believe me. 7️⃣ Allow yourself moments to just feel emotional. It’s a lot. Your hormones will go a little crazy and it’s just part of the journey. Know that it’s normal and you are not alone. It’ll all be worth it ❤️ Any tips you would add to this list? Man kann natürlich größere Probleme umgehen, indem man z.B. auf das Fliegen, vor allem von kürzeren Strecken verzichtet.⠀ ⠀ Wir versuchen vor allem sehr auf unseren Plastikkonsum zu achten. Wo es nur möglich ist, kaufen wir so viel es geht, ohne Verpackung. Auf Tüten verzichten wir komplett und lehnen immer ab. Dafür haben wir unsere eigenen Taschen dabei. Plastikflaschen oder - Kanister versuchen wir einmal zu kaufen und immer wieder aufzufüllen. Hierfür haben wir auf Koh Lanta eine tolle Organisation entdeckt, durch die man in vielen Restaurants und Bars seine Wasserflasche kostenlos auffüllen kann @trashherokohlanta⠀ Trash hero gibt es an ganz vielen Orten in Thailand. Wusstet ihr davon? ⠀ ⠀ Außerdem haben wir uns 3 Dosen gekauft, die wir im Restaurant abgaben, wenn wir Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellten. Was wir da an Müll eingespart haben, muss man sich mal vorstellen. Anfangs waren unsere Mülleimer nämlich schon nach der ersten Essensbestellung voll.⠀ ⠀ Und was auch nicht fehlen darf, ist natürlich das Müll sammeln am Strand. Immer wieder erschreckend, wieviel dort liegen gelassen wird oder angespült wird 😔 ⠀ ⠀ Wir sind weit weg davon ein Vorbild zu sein. Aber sind es nicht die kleinen Dinge, die jeder für unsere Zukunft tun kann? 🙌🏼⠀ ⠀ Achtet ihr beim Reisen auch darauf? 22 weeks: It looks like theres two in there!? Uhm... thats cause there is! And talk about how much of a roller coaster the twins lives have been since the moment we found out there were two. I kinda feel bad for them?😆since we left the dr office when we found out our thoughts have doubled and there is no one single direction we are ever traveling. Go one way for one kid, just to use your other hand to make something for the other babe. And your mind, its not there. Its in the next room over planning how your going to tackle the next chore. Nothing is calm. Or quiet. Its a constant, exciting, exhausting, big + messy, BEAUTIFUL life. I love it! All the way up till this air bnb living situation, it hasnt just been smooth sailing but the rough seas make for a fun ride✨ so there is two, and a big sister makes three. And life makes a whole show! And i sometimes wonder how people think we look out in public🤡 do they catch me on a good day where my hurrr is done and i fool em orrrr do they think we look like the hot mess express plowing through🚂 choo choo. No point here really; just popping in to say hi. Count all your precious blessings, especially the sticky ones. And i love you.
