Its been a minute since I spoke about my WHY. Lots of you know I created this business in honour of my dad, but no one really knows why. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Dad was the HARDEST worker Ive ever known, he definitely instilled this work ethic in me - I am ALWAYS working, its not something Im proud of, but thats a story for another day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The reason I started this business was purely to allow our customers to understand the importance of taking a minute for themselves and their family. To stop and let the light in. To take in the happiness of that moment, because it can become a memory far too quickly. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is the last photo I have with my dad, it was my wedding in 2017 and he passed 10 months later. Dropped dead suddenly at work one morning after experiencing a heart attack, he was revived on site and then passed away in hospital surrounded by his family. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When we say we want to bring you light and love we truly mean it, our products have been designed around this purpose. Every-time you open a candle you should feel its energy almost immediately. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There is energy in all of our products because of the crystals infused but also because I whole heartedly believe my dad is surrounding us, which then allows your loved ones to surround you - whether you have met them or not (great grandparents, great aunts - distant relatives who have passed).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am SO passionate about our brand and without you, our customers, we wouldnt be moving into our second warehouse. So my why, why did I start this business is a loaded question. I started it in honour of my dad and to bring to life my purpose and passion, but Ive grown it because of you. Because now I am SO committed to honouring our customers and bringing you the most amazing service possible.
