Manuka Honey Brรปlรฉes If creme brรปlรฉe is one of your favourite desserts, and honey is one of your favourite ingredients โ this combination is sure to satisfy your expectations! This recipe can make 6 creme brulees, perfect for a family night. To make it, you will need: - 6 egg yolks - 1 tsp vanilla extract - 3 tbsp of manuka honey - 1 orange, zest, finely grated - 600ml cream - 2 tbsp caster sugar Steps: 1. Preheat oven to 150 degree celsius. In a mixing bowl whisk egg yolks, vanilla, honey and orange zest together until smooth. 2. Slowly pour cream into the egg mixture, whisking continuously. Pour custard evenly into six ramekins. 3. Place ramekins in a large baking dish. Pour in enough hot water to reach halfway up the sides of the ramekins. 4. Carefully transfer to the oven and cook for 50โ60 minutes until the brรปlรฉes are just set, with a slight wobble in the middle. Allow to cool slightly, then place in the fridge for at least a few hours (or in the freezer for 30 minutes) to set. 5. When ready to serve, evenly sprinkle 1 tsp sugar over each brรปlรฉe. Use a blow torch to caramelise the sugar, golden brown will do. Quick, easy and guilty-free dessert done in 5 steps!
