Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I recently lost my serving job and had to close Guru’s storefront for the unforeseeable future. I took a couple of days to process what I’ve been feeling while navigating these recent, unsettling days. In this time of uncertainty and stress, I turned to what always feels right...Helping when I can. I have an outlet I can use to do good. I will be offering 2 ways to help those who are less fortunate: 1.) I will donate 50% of every purchase made online to @feedingamerica’s COVID-19 Response Fund. Every dollar raised from the fund will be used to get food and funds to local food banks across America. For those of you who are curious, the other 50% will be going directly to paying the rent on my storefront, this is NOT for personal profit. 2.) If you aren’t interested in, or unable to purchase something from Guru’s online shop but still want to help, I have set up the option to sponsor a COVID-19 Hygiene Kit via @heart.to.heart.international. Kits are only $10 and include soap, toothpaste, shampoo, and more and are delivered to a person in need. La storia più famosa di tutte é la settima delle sette meraviglie, Hanako-san del bagno. Si dice che nella terza porta dei bagni delle ragazze al terzo piano del vecchio edificio ci vive Hanako-san, la quale concede un desiderio a chiunque la convoca, però lei, in cambio prende da loro qualcosa di prezioso. Per chiamarla bisogna solamente bussare tre volte, alla porta del terzo bagno, e chiamarla tre volte chiedendole se è lì e lei apparirà davanti a te. Fu questa la storia che senti per caso Yashiro Nene in classe da delle sue compagne prima dellinizio della lezione, incuriosita dalla storia aveva deciso che il giorno stesso alla fine dee lezioni sarebbe andata a chiamare Hanako-san per farsi aiutare col suo più grande desiderio. Suonata la campanella dellultima lezione Nene uscì dalla classe e si diresse presso il luogo dove avrebbe dovuto trovare Hanako-san. Pochi istanti dopo socchiuse lentamente gli occhi e vide uscire fuori dalla porta una mano sentendo una voce dirle eccomi qui la ragazzina spaventata fece un passo indietro chiudendo nuovamente gli occhi e quando li riaprí vide che in realtà nel bagno non cera nessuno oh non cè nessuno, era solamente la mia immaginazione tirò un sospiro di sollievo guardando il bagno vuoto, ma quel momento di tranquillità passò velocemente perché poco dopo che disse ciò si senti una mano appoggiarsi alla spalla ed una voce alle sue spalle dicendole sono da questa parte. Em minha percepção existiriam aqueles com erupções emocionais, provocando lágrimas e gritos, e as literais, nas quais pareceria que tudo que guarda de forma forçada sairia com um passe de mágica. Uma sensação antecipada de um aviso, um que sabia durante toda sua vida, mas preferiu ignorar, sendo que de algum modo essa alienação geraria uma felicidade só sua que ninguém poderia estragar, era o que pensava, até você enfim enfrentá-la e se dar conta de quanta lava dilapidada poderia ter evitado. Se ao menos tivesse antes mudado o que sabia estar errado, tirando esse peso da fumaça seguida da destruição em massa. Talvez depois de algum tempo possamos por um fim nessa queimação interior, vinda lá do fundo, lentamente, mesmo com seus grandes propósitos. Finalmente libertar o que está preso em seu âmago, botar para fora o que incomoda, ao invés de sempre deixar lá, causando danos para mais tarde voltar a seu lugar de origem. Um ciclo vicioso. Parece te agradar. Ao contrário, ele te prende e lhe faz esquecer de alguma vida fora de sua mente. You see, I cant paint galaxies, & shade them with intricate metaphors I dont know how to teleport you to another dimension with the mere flick of my magic-word-wand I cant dress up demons in fancy garments, I am not in league with dictionaries or libraries They refuse to lend me their wisdom shower me with words at the drop of my heart But, if I were to scribble something right away I fret, it might sound a lot like a love poem And I am no love poet or a poet for that matter Love, hope, happy endings stopped their trades with me Quite some time ago I was a poor customer, you see My consent and I sell too cheap So, I never possessed the stencils to color rainbows, filling them up with glitter shaded daisies. paint butterflies and unicorns fluttering about or conjure cotton candy flavored star dust I struggle to bedazzle the hideous shadows with ingenious rhymes Instead, youll find me dancing bare feet with the haunting ghosts of melancholia in the shadow of the blown-out moon. Preferring my recurring rendezvous into the dark abyss. over the celestial highs. The only being acceptant of my demons and I, whole. Pardon me for disappointing you my Dearest. #ODLETRAS Pra finalizar com chave de ouro essa semana incrível da Olimpíada das Letras, que o tema foi a editora Darkside (@darksidebooks). E pra esse desafio final, que é postar uma foto que represente meu amor pela Dark, escolhi como tema da minha foto Medo Clássico. Os livros na cesta são, respectivamente, Drácula e Frankenstein, ambos do século 19, dai a inspiração da roupa e do cenário (e também do filme Mary Shelley, a recomendação dele tá lá nos meus destaques). Cheguei na reta final da odletras, na última semana, e adorei a experiência de participar e de estar no grupo com tantas pessoas legais.
