I first saw a Simon Stephens play in 2014 when I saw @melbtheatreco produce his astonishing play ‘Birdland’. Since then, I’ve flagged that moment as one of the main reasons I started @patalogtheatre and pursued a career as an actor. Hello friends, Today marks the 3rd year since my Mama returned to the stardust. Im surprisingly at peace. I miss her terribly and wish I could call her daily, but I feel her presence constantly and know shes looking out for me. Im proud of who Ive become because of her guidance, and am grateful that shes not in pain or having to watch whats going on in the world now. Overall, I didnt know if Id ever recover from losing her but Im honestly more mentally and emotionally stable now than Ive ever been in my life. Its a strange feeling to be here only 3 years after losing my best friend but I know shed be genuinely happy that Im doing well. In memory of Michael Peter Smith September 7, 1941 - August 3, 2020. Here he was getting a henna tattoo for our performance of Moby-Dick in 2016. When I last saw him to say goodbye he said he was grateful he had gotten to live the life of an artist. That it was a wonderful life. He thanked me for all the work we did together over the past 15 years and he said he would do it all over in a heartbeat, even fuckin France. He hated going to France. 2012 - 2020.. I met you when I was at my lowest and you literally saved me.. we were together for 7 years.. having multiple miscarriages.. moving across country and starting a new life. We were so toxic for eachother tho.. we weren’t the perfect couple. We had our good and bad times. We then got pregnant again for the 3rd time and life changed.. we changed.. bad things happened and I won’t bring up the situation but our relationship ended horribly.. fighting and battling eachother for custody and bringing eachother down.. but then... we broke up a few months after Ryder was born and it was the worse time of my life... but Seeing you everyday for months on end.. I started to fall in love with the person you became.. the father you are to our son and I couldn’t contain myself.. I ended a relationship with someone because I wasn’t happy anymore and I felt my happiest when I was with you and Ryder. I got excited to see you everyday and spend a few hours with you. I am so happy that we are back together.. 3 years apart made us really grow though. Those 3 years were hard and I felt helpless without you. I was so used to you , being with someone for 7 years is a long time and it really has opened my eyes that I need you. Waking up to you every morning is a blessing and I’ve missed it. We have our own place with new beginnings. We have turned this into a HOME! Я не любила кормить. И когда, почти 10 лет назад, я родила Даню я не чувствовала, что могу поделиться этим с кем-то. Я была очень далека от трепета и кайфа от процесса о котором в те времена принято было писать на форумах. Думала это со мной что-то не так, что я не достаточно стараюсь. Я прошла через мастит, кровотечения и полное равнодушие медперсонала пока Даня лежал в неонатальном отделении. Я не знала ничего. И денег не было ни на смеси (которые зачем-то назначали несмотря на гиперлактацию) ни на молокоотсосы ни на консультантов. Я чувствовала вину за Данино здоровье и за то, что у нас не было этого святого первого прикладывания. ... Молли родилась в Швеции и я думала, что будет проще, но история повторилась. Во время кормлений в глазах темнело, было какое-то полуобморочное состояние. Апатия, тревога, раздражение. Но медперсонал тут поддержал совсем подругому! Что? Комфорт мамы важен?! Оказалось, что эффект помутнения в глазах и затруднения дыхания вызван обычной дегидрацией - больше пить до и во время кормлений. Брошюры (без рекламы молочных смесей на обороте) про важность правильного захвата, рекомендации по сну и питанию - я хранила потом лет 5, не выбралывала! Тогда 7 лет назад я решила разобраться какую роль играет молоко в становлении иммунитета ребенка и почему в Швеции этому уделяют так много внимания. А еще посмотреть: может ли быть без крайностей? Что, если маме плохо? Где золотая середина? Я ходила на собрания консультантов по ГВ, узнала о ненужности диет, о том, что спорт не запрещен и молоко не “сгорает”. А еще о том, что женщин нельзя осуждать если у них не получается кормить грудью, но важно максимально информировать. . Это скорее мой личный опыт нежели карьерный этап. Со временем я вообще перестала говорить, что училась и имею опыт консультирования. Мне плохо от комментариев под постами про ГВ - словно опять темнеет в глазах. . Про состав молока . Хоть я докормила обоих детей до года, мне жаль, что мой личный опыт - такой - неинформированный, полный страхов. Каждая мама имеет право и на квалифицированную поддержку и на защиту от осуждения. . Не случилось ГВ - подняла подбородок и пошла дальше. Случилось ГВ - то же самое. . ♥️Ваша М - @marysstories on Instagram

Tun wichtig, wissen es besser. Im Zimmer flackert das Licht, in den Händen schwitzen die Mikros. Aufnahmesituation. Was wird bleiben von diesem Abend, der Woche zuvor? Die Männer schauen zur Decke, als hätte dort jemand die Antwort in Stuck hinterlassen. Ratlosigkeit. Wissen nicht, ob die Luft jetzt dünner wird oder doch schon zum Schneiden ist. Raffen sich auf. Also die Bayern, zum wievielten Mal? Was soll man noch sagen? Heute ist die Spannung gestorben, oder vielleicht gestern. Sie wissen es nicht. En la revista @cinemania.es del mes de agosto podéis leer sobre la nueva película que @pablo_maqueda_ y yo tenemos entre manos. En 1974 Werner Herzog viajó de Múnich a París a pie y a principios de 2020, antes de saber que nos llegaría una pandemia, lo hizo @pablo_maqueda_ . He producido este documental en colaboración con La cinemateca francesa y el propio Werner Herzog (🤯😱), quien ha narrado parte de su libro “Del caminar sobre hielo” exclusivamente para la película. Ver como una idea de Pablo se transforma en un viaje apasionante, luego en una colaboración inimaginable con uno de sus cineastas más admirados y por último, en un documental de un director al que admiro, ha sido una verdadera pasada. Dear friends, in January of 2010, on a whim and in search of adventure, we moved to Middlebury, VT from the mountains of North Carolina. In February, we launched Middlebury Chocolates, and that summer we opened a tiny retail location over the falls of Otter Creek. Since that time, we have had many successes and many failures, many trials and triumphs, and have had the joy of meeting so many beautiful people along the way that have inspired us and made us a part of their community. We have been truly blessed. So, it is with many emotions that today, after nine years of watching our family grow, of learning so much from those around us, and of being cared for by our community, that we are announcing the closure of Middlebury Chocolates as we move back to North Carolina to be with family. While this may be the end of Middlebury Chocolates, it marks the beginning of something new. We hope to continue sharing with you and being a part of this community for years to come, and we hope to share these beautiful pieces of Vermont in all of our new adventures.
