Organismos de estrutura simples, que possuem uma estrutura celular chamada cnidócitos (ou cnidoblastos) em seus tentáculos, responsável por causar as tão temidas queimaduras. Nesse grupo estão as medusas e as alforrecas (ou águas-vivas), as caravelas, as anémonas-do-mar, os corais-moles e as hidras de água doce. . Biorock Coral Reefs Restoration in Chabahar Bay: To build a biorock reef, a electrically conductive frame is submerged and attached to the sea bottom. A low voltage direct current is applied. This initiates an electrolytic reaction that precipitates mineral crystals naturally found in seawater, mainly calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide, on the structure. coral pieces start to grow faster than normal. بازسازي آبسنگ ها مرجاني خليج چابهار به روش بيوراك: ساخت صخره بيوراك يك فريم متصل به جريان الكتريسيته است كه زير آب به بستر دريا متصل ميشود. يك جريان مستقيم الكتريسيته با ولتاژ پايين بكار ميرود. اين امر يك واكنش الكتريكي را آغاز ميكند كه منجر به رسوب سريعتر كريستال هاي معدني (مخصوصا كربنات كلسيم و هيدركسيد منيزيم) كه به صورت طبيعي در آب دريا يافت مي شود، در ساختار آبسنگ مرجاني ميگردد. در نتيجه قطعات مرجاني شروع به رشد سريعتر از شرايط معمولي مي كنند.
