all my life i’ve grown up in williamsburg and lived literally across the street from Eastern State Mental Hospital and have been in a few abonded buildings but never been back here. Took a few pictures around the old grounds and I didn’t say much. Just felt really... sad and somber. Instead of sending people to mental hospital and treating them inhumane it should be treated the same as going to the hospital for any illness and people should get cared for correctly.
