Client spotlight😎🔥🤴 @kitchengamestrong I wanted to share with you something about process. ....and the patience it requires. ♥️ Jan 2, 2019 Ethan began his journey to become his best..for the first time in his life. He weighed 265#. He was eating barely anything. So. He needed to loose weight right? But if eating less was truly accurate of weight loss, then how could he eat less than 900 Cals ? 😳 And not suffer malnutrition? He was already malnourished, his metabolism was at a dead stop. Understanding that he had done nothing until this point to build any sort of body underneath. And he didnt wanna be skinny. We worked for 14 months reversing him from 900 Cals up to 5400 Cals. He went from eating 1 meal a day to 6. And now that we have taken the time to build shape. ( And hell....we lost 90# by stuffing our face....he had MONSTER cheat meals. Once a week after the first 90 days ....of zero cheats ). Its time to cut. 😎😎😎 In the course of this time so many things happened in his life that would have stopped the majority of anyone. In may 2019. His gf of 3 years was killed in a tragic accident. Instwad of allowing it as an excuse. He used it as a chance to grow. If you dont take the time to change your life.. . When? If not now....when. thats on you. I am so proud of everything he has overcome....and the person he was unafraid to set free. To make it more beginner switch to regular planks, switch to knee push ups, keep the alternating planks, and just do downdog with leg lifts (keeping the hip square- not rotating your whole body)! I would recommend repeating these exercises 3-4 times with atleast 30s of work and 15-30s of rest! • ✨HOW DO I STAY MOTIVATED ALWAYS✨ I don’t! This week I was super demotivated and bloated and just not feeling it (my body was definitely telling me to rest)- so that’s what I did. I took a week to just let my body rest- try and focus on my nutrition (but when your body says gimme snacks you give it snacks)- but at the end of the day I lost a couple extra pounds just letting my body chill out. Listen to your body! • I filmed this workout a couple days ago and just did it quickly before going swimming (hence the bathing suit) and I almost didn’t post it after watching the videos bc I felt it didn’t look how I wanted it to and I was wishing my body was more covered but then I realized who the hell cares? What matters to me is that I got up (despite all my lack of motivation this past week) and I did the thing. I moved my body. I took care of myself despite wanting to lay in bed and watch movies/YouTube all day (which I did all the other days- totally fine). To me, this is the difference between letting one week of lack of motivation turn into a month of no motivation to a couple months of no motivation to a year of no motivation. This is the difference. Get up and do the thing. No matter how badly you don’t want to. Just do it because that will make the ultimate difference at the end of the day✨ - @fit.withjamie on Instagram

8 MONTHS OF EFFORT Whilst I was pregnant I gained 24kg. Yes a whole 24kg. Apparently the average woman gains between 10-15kg whilst pregnant but I don’t know if I trust these statistics anymore. Those who know me know I love my food and I throughly enjoyed eating whatever I wanted whenever I wanted. I knew I was gonna “snap back” so I enjoyed my food . I remember taking that pic 4 weeks after I had my daughter and I was so perplexed as to why I hadn’t gone back to “normal”. I remember my first gym session after labour and I felt like I couldn’t do anything no lunge, no squat, no bench, literally nothing that involved my core. Defeated I went on the cross trainer and was dying after 6 minutes. I ended up leaving the gym early (mummy duties) and walking home thinking OMG this ain’t “light work” . Looking at these pictures I feel so proud. It’s not the 12 weeks I thought it would be. BUT it’s a physical photo of where my continuous effort and a whole leap of pushing @jumpingjegede can get me. I know it sounds simple. But for real. Just keep showing up even if it’s 20 minutes. Some days your not going to want to train. Some days you’ll feel exhausted. Some days you might eat the house. But that’s okay. ✨FIX YOUR S#!T: hip thrust edition✨ • Here are the mistakes I see the most often-the best way to check if YOU are making any of these mistakes is to film yourself-and compare your videos to the following notes! ❌keeping your head lying back. Training your glutes while pregnant can actually help stabilize and support the back muscles AND pelvic floor 🙌🏼 . 1️⃣ Low Squatting Band Abductions This move has replaced the regular/parallel squatting abductions I do when not pregnant. Being this low actually takes the pressure off my pelvic floor and doesn’t cause ANY pelvic pain 🙌🏼! I felt my upper glute max firing 🔥which was SO NICE because it’s been extremely challenging for me to connect with this muscle due to normal pregnancy pelvic discomfort 2️⃣ Rear Leaning Squatting Abductions Another variation I played around with that I also LOVED! Again, I can connect nicely with my upper glute max without having any pelvic discomfort 🤘🏼 3️⃣ Band Lateral x Reverse Steps 1 refers to these as “cha-chas” but I can’t lower my torso down as far because of this big belly 😉 so here is my comfortable pregnant variation 4️⃣ Dumbbell Static Lunges Very glute focused. Watch how my front toes are lifted to mentally and physically force my glute to take over much of the lifting and lowering 🥵. The dumbbell on my shoulder totally kicked it up a notch 5️⃣ Single Leg Sit Squats VERY challenging this far along 🤰🏼 but I still feel my form is acceptable AND it felt great! Control your body all the way down to the step and as you come up to standing. 🔥 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🔥 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Michelle and I began working together in October of last year. - Ive done it! Reached my goal weight. SW 77kg CW 59.9kg GW 60kg. Photo on the left is from 2017. I had a baby end to 2019 my full term weight was approx 85kg. Didnt take any photos until I was under 70kg. Before getting pregnant I was 77kg so I made that my starting point.
