It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our long-time employee and great friend, Matthew Hoffman following a six-year battle with cancer. Matt’s contributions at HGOR for over twenty years are felt in the many impressions he made mentoring landscape architects in his specialty of construction documentation. A kind and patient individual, Matt embodied the ideal of a leader in the landscape architecture profession. His integrity and decency spoke louder than any words. Even during his battle with cancer Matt selflessly guided younger employees in their growth within the profession and continued to provide expertise to serve client’s needs. So many projects bear witness to his influence and his mark on the land will stand the test of time. HGOR is proud to have been associated with Matt and we will sorely miss his positive perspective on life and love of the environment. Donations in Matt’s memory can be made to the Thomas F.
