This photo wasnt meant for sharing, it was just a quick test shot of doubling up filters (Astronomik L2 + IDAS NB2) on the Ra for reasons I will get in to when I do a full review of the camera. However, after a quick processing and crop, I decided to share it as I was pretty wowed by the amount of signal considering this was just 50 minutes shot at f/6 from Bortle 9 with 90% moon! Pretty amazing what OSC cameras with dual narrowband filters can do today. I might be a convert (at least for fun quick shots, Ill still be using my mono camera for my big multi-year projects on the dim stuff). Few tandem runs from @usdriftcircuit Sebring, was still getting used to the new tune and new shifter. Lead runs felt super consistent and smooth, follows felt a bit sloppy but manageable. After seeing @samtrumangolf with @projecttourschool and identifying some points of improvement I’ve been working hard on my breaking putts. This is one of my favourite drills for green reading, visualisation, speed control, setup and start line control and aim.⠀ ⠀ Using my @visioputting sweet roll down a chalk line I can establish the true break of the putt. Place a ghost hole a foot short of wear the balls finished along the break and test once more that the ball will roll over the hole (video 3). Next I set up a putting mirror and start line gate along the chalk line (image 2). I proceed to hit putts. This image consists of only 1.5 hours of exposure time (10×3 min Ha, 10x3 min OIII and 10x3 min SII filters) before its view was obstructed by trees. The last ever vertical fin to be manufactured for the iconic Airbus A380 made its journey from Hamburg to Jean-luc Lagardere plant in Toulouse to be assembled as MSN 272, the last ever Airbus A380-842. An engineering icon, the A380 was a very polarizing aircraft, it boasted legions of fans and not far behind were the enthusiasts who despised the A380 with every living breath. Not as sharp featured as the Boeing B747, nor as important with respect to the era in which the B747 debuted, connecting continents and the masses effortlessly, the A380 captured the imagination of the masses by its sheer size. A smidge shorter than the B747 in terms of absolute size, she could carry a whole bunch of people more in a high density configuration. The first of the kind would be flown by Singapore airlines, but they wont be the most recognised operator of the type. That honour rests firmly with Emirates, who found a way to make this 500 plus tonne aircraft an integral part of their fleet strategy. If you did operate into DXB during the peak rush hour, you would be swarmed by the A380s as they made their way back from around the globe, with DXB controllers working super efficiently to ensure we dont hold forever while they efficiently maneuvered us behind the might A380 while maintaing the highest required spacing between following aircrafts, for the wake forces generated by these beasts are not exactly friendly. All said, the sight of one of these roaring down the runway with their four Engine Alliance GP7270 engines screaming in the DXB heat was a sight to behold. Never as succesful as the B747, the A380 did how ever become a familiar face around the world and its arrival was usually celebrated with much fanfare. Last 10 days have been amazing when it comes to astrophotography! I have been learning so much and trying out new things while I had the opportunity to photograph the night sky! . The comet NEOWISE is still going strong and putting on a spectacular show! If you haven’t had an opportunity, go to my IGTV and check out some of the live sessions I did while I was out and about hunting for the comet! . I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to see it 5 times now! Was it enough?! Ofcourse not! I will try again on Thursday before the Moon starts showing up in the sky in the evening and overshadowing the comet ☄️ . One of the nights we got lucky and saw the combination of comet and Auroras! My 4th attempt at capturing the Andromeda Galaxy and my best thus far. Still a long way to go, but progress is progress 😀 • This is a stack of about 15 images taken this past weekend when I got together with @mostly_star_stuff and @izdana at Mt. Pinos. Dana & her husband Matt arrived the day before and subsequently got pummeled with rain and hale during a storm that rolled through Saturday late afternoon. Justin and I were lucky enough to only have to drive through it! The storm cleared but at least some clouds remained throughout most of the night so I was not able to capture more frames. La cometa Neowise ... Levataccia stamattina, ma ne è valsa la pena! Arrivo nel posto che avevo addocchiato qualche giorno fa non lontano da casa e poso lattrezzatura. Sono le 3:40 e la cometa è appena sopra lorizzonte, infatti non riesco a vederla da un cielo col forte inquinamento luminoso della Pianura Padana. Faccio un primo scatto ed eccola, appena sopra ad un albero lontano. Ma è solo dopo le 4:00 che si svela veramente, la sua coda è visibile benissimo ad occhio nudo (chissà dalla montagna!) e pur essendo una cometa di piccole dimensioni se paragonata alla bellissima Hale Bopp del 1997, è comunque bellissima, una delle più belle degli ultimi anni. Arriva a farmi compagnia anche lamico @wlady.f che fa appena in tempo a godersi lo spettacolo della cometa allalba. It was discovered in 1952. It is estimated to be around 3,000 light years from earth and has an age of around 40,000 years. This nebula is huge, It probably would have taken a mosaic of 9 to 12 panels to capture the whole thing. Its captured using narrowband filters, but I decided to go for a more natural look and leave out SII. I put Ha in the Red Channel and OIII in the Green and Blue Channels. 16 aout 2020 16h00: Une cellule orageuse arrive de Montélimar sur Crest, direction les antennes relais de Piegros la Clastre, jinstalle mon matériel mais malheureusement impossible de capturer des éclairs trop peu nombreux, trop de pluie même quelques grêlons. Cest la déception total, je décide de partir et de reprendre la route en passant par le col de la chaudière, Saoû puis Crest, il est a ce moment la 19h30, quelques éclairs dans le ciel mais rien de fou, pose vite fait à Macdo je consulte mon appli et je vois une grosse cellule entre Montélimar et Valence, je me dit que cest peut être la bonne, direction la Chevalerie à Crest. 20h30 cest calme quelques éclairs aux loin pas de vent, installation des appareils photos sans vraiment despoir. 21h30 ça commence a claquer du coté de Upie valence Livron. Il arrive droit sur nous enfin, jen ai pris plus les yeux jusqu’à 23h30. Podczas uroczystości prezydent Andrzej Duda wręczył noty identyfikacyjne rodzinom poległych westerplatczyków – Jana Gębury, Bronisława Peruckiego, Władysława Okrasy, Józefa Kity, Adolfa Petzelta.
