+++Jahresabschluss 2019 Teil 1+++ Jetzt ist ja schon fast das Jahr 2019 vorbei und das finde ich ist ein Anlass dafür, noch einmal das Jahr aufblühen zu lassen. Am Anfang des Jahres um genau zu sein im Februar haben wir gemeinsam mit der Jugendgruppe Technische Hilfeleistung auf Verkehrswegen geübt, im März kam ein kleiner Sturm der uns auch einen kleinen Einsatz bereitet hat. Im Mai waren wir dann mit der FGr Wassergefahren auf dem Wasserübungsplatz in Barme (Niedersachsen). Auch im Mai war ich dann auf dem Lehrgang „Maschinist SEA“ in Castrop-Rauxel wo ich wieder einmal viele nette Leute kennengelernt habe. Auch im Mai war wieder das jährliche Event „Voll die Ruhr“ die Veranstaltung besuchten wir mit unserer Jugendgruppe und stellten unsere Fahrzeuge aus und unsere Jugendgruppe machte kleinere Leckerein für Klein und Gross. Im Juni waren wir dann in einem Jugendzentrum im Mülheim-Heissen. Dort hat ein Junghelfer für sein Soziales Projekt für das Leistungsabzeichen absolviert dazu später mehr. Zudem waren wir im Rahmen der Vorbereitungen auch bei der FF Heissen wo die Junghelfer in Brandschutz geschult worden sind und anschliessend gab es noch eine kleine abkühlung für alle beteiligten 😂 Anfang Juli haben wir dann in der Einheit weiter gemacht mit dem Zuschnitt des Abstützsystemholz zudem wurde an dem Tag durch unsere Junghelfer das Leistungsabzeichen abgelegt. Alle Junghelfer haben dies gemeistert 👍 Ende Juli bin ich dann gemeinsam mit unserer Jugendgruppe aufs Jugendlager nach Rudolstadt gefahren auch dort hat man wieder viele neue Leute kennengelernt aber auch alte bekannte wieder getroffen. ☺️ #THW #THWjugend #FW #DRK #JUH #GKW #LF #FF #MTW #MzKW #MLW #IKW #Friends #bestejahr #truppführer - @yannick0507 on Instagram

. 내가 정말 살면서 별의 별 일은 다해봤는데 방역청소는 또 첨이네? 돌아보면 어렸을 때 시급 알바는 해본적없는거같다. 시급 2800원 받으면서 해본기억이...다만 초등학교 중학교 때 장당 5~7원짜리 전단지를 시작으로 고등학교 때 노가다를 시작으로 새벽 4시쯤 인력소로 나가서 아저씨들이랑 줄을 다투며 모르는 봉고차에 팔려나가 별의 별 일을 다 해봤는데. 양파뽑는 농장부터, 철로도 깔러다녀보고 보도블럭이며 양로원 침대 설치며 목포에있는 신도시 아파트에 내가 안가본곳이 없을걸... 청소부터 벽돌에 콩크리트 포대에 샤워실 부스 유리에 심지어 비누받침대까지 그리고 철거현장이건 도배현장이건 다 나가고 조선소 큰 배 페인트 보조에 그라인딩하는 아저씨들 따라 철가루 치우는 일까지 별의 별 일 다 해본거같다. 그렇게 용돈벌이하고 학교다니고 호주오려고 밑바닥부터 아무것도 없는 시작부터 하고싶은거 배우고싶은거 하려고 모으고 여기와서 농장도 다녀오고 주 100~140시간씩 일도하고 별의 별 일들을 하고 겪으면서 살았는데... 방역청소는 또 첨이구만 코로나쨔샤 아오... . 돈을 절대로 따라간적도 따라가서는 안된다고 생각하지만 가족사정 때문에 급하게 벌어야했고, 하고싶은 것을 하기위한 수단으로 벌었었고 벌 수 있다고 생각하나 역시나 돈을 목표로 일을 하는건 나와 맞지가 않다...있다가도 없는거... 욕심이 많아서 배우고 내가 가져야만 직성이 풀리는 누군가 정말 팔다리를 잘라도 여전히 그것은 내거인 그런게 갖고싶다. 배우거나 행동으로 익히는거랄까.. 왜 나이먹고 이거 저거 하고싶어하냐 하는데... 지금이 나한텐 젤 어린데 왜 오지랖들인지 모르겠다. 하고싶지않을 일을 하면서 남은 여생을 보내며 가족 때문에 하기싫은일이지만 더러워도 한다면서 살아가고싶진않다. 그런 자기합리화는... 조금이라도 젊었을 때 이런저런 몸적으로 정신적으로 힘든 일을 하면서 후에 정말 하고싶은일 하고 살면서 살아가려면... 하루라도 어렸을 때 이것저것 해봐야한다 생각한다....는 생각을 다시한번 하게되는... 현타가오는 신박한 방역청소였다. 조선소 이후에 오랜만에 입게되는 저 전신수틐ㅋㅋ물론 모르고 하루도와주러간거지만...청소 개잘하게 생겼다😏 하... 코로나 어서 끝났음 좋겠다🤦🏻‍♂️ - @gary__jh on Instagram

Hegyi travelled across four states in the Mountain West – Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and Colorado. He begin his ride in the liberal college city of Missoula before winding down towards the small ranching towns of eastern Idaho; past Yellowstone National Park and down towards the Wind River Indian Reservation. Whilst we are not perfect here at Earthfare, every day we are striving to be more green. We are always talking to our suppliers about using compostable or recyclable packaging, and thinking of ways we can be better in store. We recently got rid of six lines of plastic bottled water, and only have two lines left that we are working on phasing out. Plus, today we installed this filtered water fountain on our shop floor, which is free for all our customers and staff to use to refill their water bottle. Weve already had 22 people refill their bottles in the last couple of hours! The closure of the additional ten forests will be effective at 5:00 pm today. These additional forests include the Eldorado National Forest, Klamath National Forest, Lassen National Forest, Mendocino National Forest, Modoc National Forest, Six Rivers National Forest, Plumas National Forest, Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Tahoe National Forest, and Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit. This decision will be re-evaluated daily as conditions change. We had closed eight National Forests on Monday evening, Sept. 7, 2020. Explosive growth of fires throughout California during the day and late evening of Sept. 8th led to this updated decision. “The number of large fires and extreme fire behavior we are seeing across the State is historic, said Regional Forester Randy Moore. Out with the old. In with the new. In trying to fix my washer (need to replace a bad transmission), I had to turn these old valves on and off. The constant turning resulted in these 50 year old valves, corroded with hard water, and painted over numerous times, to leak, even when shut off. The supply lines were also leaking at the connections so water was squirting everywhere. So its time for some new hardware! Yewww! Plumbing repairs are intimidating to me especially because a poor repair can lead to more damage like soggy drywall. But replacing valves (sink, toilet, spigot, etc) like these, are pretty straightforward, especially if its a valve with a compression sleeve. With the help of YouTube, you can fix stuff like this yourself. I figure a plumber wouldve charged me, at the very least, a hundred bucks. It took me about two hours (I had to make two trips to Home Depot because I got the wrong sized flange; that shiny circular thing in between the wall and the valve). All this to say and show that you can do your own repairs as well! At least take the time to Google the problem to see if its an easy fix and something that you could possibly fix yourself. It happened when I was working at the magistrate’s court and my name at the time was Ray. We had another Ray in the security team so it used to get very confusing when people would radio through instructions. As I was already an Elvis impersonator, a solicitor friend suggested I change my name for real seeing as everyone called me Elvis anyway, and I thought…what a cracking idea. He actually paid for me to have it changed legally – so yes – I really am Elvis Presley! By night he’s a performer but by day, you can find Elvis helping customers at Brighton station. “I originally started working at the station as a search officer but a couple of years ago I witnessed an incident where a passenger unfortunately suffered a heart attack on the platform. I performed CPR and did everything I could try and save him but unfortunately, he was already gone. I received an excellence award for my actions and also received a very heartfelt letter from the man’s wife thanking me for all I had done. “It was a sad situation but because of the way I handled it, Southern offered me a full-time job with them at the gateline. I love working with people and having good laugh. Even on the busiest days, I have the megaphone and keep people entertained. It really helps my mental health being able to meet and chat to so many of our customers. “There’s a lot more people passing through Brighton station again now with pubs and hotels re-opened for business. I’m asking customers to keep their distance as much as possible because it really is important. On Wednesday, class 1/2020 passed-out, graduating after 17 weeks training. The class of 47 firefighters, 39 male and 8 female, was unique in many ways as a result of COVID-19 restrictions. Training pods were created to help us maintain social distancing which allowed us to create our first ever all-female training syndicate (or pod). It comprised of six of the female recruit firefighters. The pod trained and studied together limiting their interactions with other similar pods. @travelwithapaddle is stoked to be part of @parley.tv x @corona south west tour and out on the beaches collecting ocean plastic in our local area. Around 80% of what we found was fishing nets and the rest was either plastic or PPE... We first began working with @parleymaldives to fight plastic on local islands, so it is great to be able to do the same back home. The beach can often look clean when you start... but once you start finding plastic under the stones, you just can’t stop! It’s everywhere! It was nice to meet other locals litter picking the shoreline too and discussing the best ways to dispose of the waste we find daily. This means gas company Santos now has permission to drill 850 gas wells in the Pilliga state forest. ⚠️Jones Hill Woods protection camp is under evicition⚠️ This morning at 5:30 am around 40 National Eviction Team officers, working on behalf of HS2 and supported by around 20 police officers entered Jones’ Hill Wood, Wendover Valley, Buckinghamshire (HP22 6PT). The clear intention was to clear the protest camp. Whilst two protestors were removed quickly by the use of excessive force, there are currently around fifteen protestors occupying multiple treehouses across the site. This ancient woodland has been the site of a protest camp for around seven months, and is included in the list of 20 ancient woodlands that HS2 have highlighted for demolition throughout October. This woodland represents just one of 108 woodlands that are due to be destroyed during phase one construction of the HIg Speed Rail Project. Jones’ Hill Wood also represents the cultural loss that will be caused by this large scale industrial development. This beautiful and unique habitat was the inspiration for Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr Fox, and is a thriving ecosystem. The protectors who have been living here have been carrying out ecological surveys and recording the diversity that is now under immediate threat. This includes 43 species of moth, seven species of bat including rare and protected roosts, at least three families of badgers, one active fox den and countless species of insects and pollinators essential to the survival of an already dwindling countryside. There are currently multiple chainsaws cutting their way into the woodland, destroying the delicate habitat, in order for eviction officers to make their way to the tree houses. Despite this protestors have vowed to stay in their trees indefinitely, in order to highlight the many issues with HS2. Ross Monaghan, currently sixty feet in the trees says, “The destruction I am witnessing right below me flies in the face of Boris Johnson’s pledge to save our countryside. Today significant delays to our response time were caused by inconsiderate parking and heavy traffic. The road to Rowardennan was reduced to a single lane. Additionally, vehicles had blocked the emergency access track that allows us to reach incidents higher on the hill. Thankfully, in this case, it didn’t impact upon the outcome for today’s casualty. However, in a more serious incident, these delays could of been life threatening. Two women were rescued from the sea off the coast of Galway today, after being feared missing. Sara Feeney (23) and Ellen Glynn (17) went paddle boarding at Furbo beach last night but got into difficulty. After 15 hours of searching by the Coast Guard, RNLI, gardaí and volunteers, they were found by a local fisherman, hanging on to fishing gear in the sea near Inis Óirr.
