Can’t quite believe 3 years have passed since we made the @dodojuiceofficial 10th anniversary coins. Originally used as gifts, additional coins were also hidden in random pots of wax for lucky customers to find! - Featuring @mrskittles3rd on one side and the company logo on the other, each side was produced on 7 different levels to fully accentuate the detailed design. The antique bronze plating gave real depth to the coins without the need to use enamel colouring. They even featured a reeded edge around the circumference, similar to the old £1 coins. - Measuring 50mm in diameter and with a thickness of 5mm, these were hefty pieces to say the least! Each one weighed a whopping 48grams - 5x the weight of the current £1/$1 coins and helped achieve the quality look and feel we wanted. - Having known pj and Dom from the early days of Dodo Juice (and Basics Of Bling), it must be said, they have helped and supported us immensely. Hope is not a plan. It never worked for me to just say I “hope” I’m better today than I was yesterday, the truth is I had no idea how to be better or where to start to be better. What I learned is that actions are more important than words. For a long time it was hard to be aware of my actions and not to act off impulse, over time I learned the simple meaning of “if it’s not right don’t do it and if it’s not true don’t say it” today marks 9 years of sobriety for me. I keep my sobriety very simple, one day at a time. I don’t pick up a drink or a drug NO MATTER WHAT happens. Sobriety has provided me with an understanding that there is a god and I’m not him. Sobriety has also given me a life worth living and family that loves me, a wife that loves me and friends that want to be around me. Most importantly, sobriety has made me believe in myself, because really I’m the only one that can screw it up. I’m not “lucky” to be sober.
