This time though, we’d be the ones crawling up onto the stage at The Reverb for our first show in the city. Our chariot to Toronto arrived in the form of multiple cars dutifully driven by our very own parents. Even with all those patches in tow, it seems you can only be SO punk when you’re still just 15 years old... . Somewhere early along the way we got the attention of the one and only @strombo, who had just launched The Punk Show on @muchofficial and offered to slug his camera over to the club, have a chat before our set and film the show. The nerves of these two milestones culminating into one momentous occasion could have been enough to make us duck out the back for a quick group puke. But once George showed up and hit record, he not only made us feel welcome and appreciated, but also made it feel that us Grade 9 geeks deserved to be filming something for national television in Canada.
