The truck driver mentality is a weird phenomenon that occurs in this world. Most of these truck drivers think that they are superior to other people in smaller vehicles but that could not be further from the truth. Last week my grandpa Rapahel passed on (at almost 99yrs old). My family was truly blessed to have such an amazing patriarch for so long - I’m sending him love every day and remembering the lessons he taught me, including this one 😇 ✨❤️ My grandpa grew up in East LA during the Great Depression (of the 1930’s), was put into the foster system, and was drafted for WW2 at 18 His only lucky break early on (as he would tell you if he was here right now) is that he met my grandma, Frances, his first and only love of almost 3/4’s of a century❤️ But he never let circumstances get the better of him. He always found a way to take care of himself, and his family (because, as he saw it, he had no choice). He never limited himself, used self deprecating humor, or allowed himself to believe FOR EVEN A SECOND that he’d ever be successful. And so he pressed on through more trials to become financially free and a top notch provider for his family✨ If I asked him his secret to success (towards the end when he could barely speak anymore), he’d just laugh, smile, look you in the eye with that twinkle that say’s “you’ll know soon enough😏” and then point to his head The message - no limits up here = no limits out there. A family in Queens Flushing is devastated with the loss of there mother. Bertha Arriaga, 43, was in her room in her Flushing apartment on 34th Avenue when she was blasted in the head around 12:45 a.m. A stray bullet came through her window. Her son named Arriaga’s 14-year-old heard a loud noise and rushed in to the room to find his mother with a bullet hole in her head. Her husband was also present at the time but wasn’t in the same room. As Police arrived they pronounced Arriaga dead at the scene. Officials said other 911 calls came in around the same time reporting shots fired, and that it appears Arriaga was hit with a stray bullet. The spooky fall-themed tiny town farm near Dallas has something for the scariest of cats to the bravest souls. The massive farm is essentially a tiny town. Youll be able to experience tons of attractions, and they even have roller coasters. Since there is still about a month left in their fall season, youll be able to enjoy some extra treats.
