𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚒𝚛 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑒 ↗️ 𝙱𝚘𝚘𝚔𝚖𝚊𝚛𝚔 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚙𝚘𝚜𝚝 • In nearly all of my past friendships & relationships, I found myself subconsciously (and consciously at times) trying to change or “fix” my friends & partners for 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝐼 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒, rather than accepting them for 𝑤ℎ𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑡𝑟𝑢𝑙𝑦 𝑎𝑟𝑒 at the core and where they were at in their journey. Come to find out after 13 years of failed romantic relationships and deep reflections within myself, this was all driven subconsciously by 𝚗𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚝𝚛𝚞𝚕𝚢 𝚊𝚌𝚌𝚎𝚙𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚖𝚢𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏 for who I was at the core. I would find myself pushing my former partners to do “the work,” in hopes that it would calibrate the relationship and it would be “ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑡ℎ𝑦.” What I didn’t know then was that this was me 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝐼 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑡 work had to be done for them. Because at the time, I thought I knew what was best for them 𝑏𝑎𝑠𝑒𝑑 𝑜𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑘 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝐼 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑑𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑚𝑦𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑓. I like to call this self-realized phenomenon 𝑠𝑝𝑖𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑢𝑎𝑙 𝑛𝑎𝑟𝑐𝑖𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑠𝑚. But that’s not how 𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚜𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚖𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 occurs. I’ve learned from my experience and from my teachings that 𝚝𝚛𝚞𝚎 𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚜𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚖𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 can 𝑂𝑁𝐿𝑌 come from 𝑊𝐼𝑇𝐻𝐼𝑁. As I’ve been shifting and transitioning into the work revolving around the subconscious mind, the heart, and facilitating space for inner healing and transformation to occur for other men inside of the @omegamanproject container, I’ve found that to help others heal and find their path, I have to 𝑒𝑚𝑏𝑜𝑑𝑦 the essence of 𝐸𝑀𝑃𝑂𝑊𝐸𝑅𝑀𝐸𝑁𝑇. So most of the world works 9-5, BIG WHOOP. That’s good for them! Good for people that love the routine and structure of a day job, corporate job, office life! There are genuinely people that love that and wouldn’t do it any other way. I am not one of those people. It took me a really long time to stop feeling guilty for that! I felt guilty that I was living my dream lifestyle while other people had their day jobs. It made me embarrassed until I remembered that not everyone would thrive in my work environment. I designed my daily routine around what works for me. Not having a day job also doesn’t mean that I’m lazy. I just work at times that I know works for me (early mornings and late night).
