Применяется расщепление фаз: каждая фаза состоит из 8 проводов, образующих в сечении правильный восьмиугольник. Вес проводников приблизительно 50 тыс. тонн. Линия «Итат — Барнаул — Экибастуз — Кокшетау — Костанай — Челябинск» построена в основном в 1980—1988 годах. Трасса линии проходит большей частью по территории Казахстана, протяжённость — около 2350 км (длина казахстанского участка составляет 1421 км). По мере развития энергоисточников (мощных ГЭС и ТЭС), увеличения расстояний между энергоисточниками и потребителями, дальности передач электроэнергии и масштабов перетоков мощности возникла задача усиления протяженных связей между районами восточной зоны Единой энергетической системы России. Have you ever had a crush on an old building? Sure, these inanimate structures might look forlorn to some but to history lovers like myself, its easy to become attached to places like these. Places that come alive as you learn more about the people who built and lived in them. But Im realizing that becoming attached to rickety old buildings in the middle of nowhere is a quick way to get your heart broken. For sadly, each of the 10 homes pictured here is no longer standing. One had to be dismantled by its owners because vandals and thieves kept breaking in. Another was burned for practice by the fire department. Two homes were destroyed by hurricanes. Two were demolished to make way for Dollar General stores. One was razed so that a new suburban neighborhood could be erected in its place. Of course, nothing lasts forever, but I was really sad to see each of these go. So today, I decided to post this collection of bittersweet images because each of these places represents a fond memory for me that I wanted to share with you too. And while Im sad each of them is gone, it helps serve me as an important reminder about my mission at The Forgotten South. To photograph and document as many forgotten historic sites as I can before they all disappear completely. - @theforgottensouth on Instagram

Die 622 Tage Joggingchallenge war für mich ein Sprungbrett, um nun regelmäßig joggen zu gehen 🏃🏽♂️🔁 Wie ihr ja wisst, bin ich 622 Tage in Folge täglich joggen gewesen 🏃🏽♂️😁 Und wie schon im vorangegangenen Beitrag beschrieben, musste ich mit der Joggingchallenge aufhören... Ambos nombres vienen por su origen, pues fue el presidente de la segunda república española Juan Negrín (1937-1939) quien lo impulsó y los 100 días que se llevó la construcción. Personal : This week has exposed emotions and feelings I wasn’t aware were buried. They came to the surface when I began crying unexpectedly as I passed my church. I really miss in-person gathering with my church. I miss hugging people without asking awkwardly first. I am angry. I’m disappointed in people’s behavior. I’m disappointed in my behavior sometimes. I’m sad. I want to walk into a store without a mask. I want my kids to enjoy going to school with their friends and playing sports. I want my work to be back to normal. So many things are out of balance in our society and it weighs on me. Reality is, I have little control over most of the things causing these feelings, but I could handle them better internally. I needed to get away. We went home. I hugged my family. We ate dinner. Talked and played with the kids. I woke up and went for a run. I made it to the cattle guard I always go to. It was slow and I had a limp (darn rose thorn in my foot), but I made it. Kind of how I go through my days lately...slower and with a limp, but every day I try do the best I can. I was able to let a lot of the stress go and reset my mind in 35 min. One of the songs that played while I ran, summed up how I feel and gave me direction on what I need to do. Five years ago today I rolled out of Alice springs under the cover of darkness to take on the biggest solo ride I had ever done. 1800km down the abandoned Old Ghan railway line skirting the edges of Munga-Thirri desert and lake Kati-Thanda. By the time i reached the prairie hotel some 1200km later i was in familiar territory and followed much of the Mawson trail to Adelaide. It was an idea I had considered back in 2004 but bike technology these days made it considerably easier than it otherwise would have been. That trip changed the way I approach bike touring and taught me to carry a lot less stuff. - @willatlarge on Instagram
