🌳 Living with Trees . I started this illustration back in May. But after overwhelming work on the design and lines, I put this project on pause. It was too big for my skill level at that time. After the long break, I finally got back to it and almost finished. Shadows are done, I only need to play around with colors. But it looks fantastic, even monochromatic. Should I keep it this way? 😅 . I thought the challenging task was to draw the whole thing using an isometric perspective. Turns out not it’s not. The tough part was to draw cast shadows 😭, especially on the roof and the balcony. I ended up making a 3D model in Blender to double-check my math with shadows. 🤯 . Cant wait to get it done and make a test print of it.
