Yo vivía en la playa y conocí a un grupo de gente que me dio la posibilidad de vivir en una casa vieja, que había estado abandonada durante quince años. No sé cómo lo hicieron pero convencieron al propietario para dejarles vivir allí de gratis, prometiendo previamente que no la destrozarían. Y así es como descubrí este estilo de vida nuevo, gratis y sencillo, totalmente opuesto a lo que hace famosa a Ibiza.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Lo que nos define como comunidad es el hecho de que todos intentamos vivir de manera autosuficiente, aunque no siempre resulta sencillo. 📍 Redwood Forest This popular forest is located in Warburton about 1.5 hours outside of Melbourne CBD. It features hundreds of Californian redwood trees perfectly lined up linearly and has to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing forests I’ve ever seen 😍 No matter what direction you look, the trees are always in a straight line, some major geometry had to go into planting the trees 😂 Another unique feature about the forest is the man made birds nests placed around the forest. There is also a path you can take that leads you down to a small creek. We also saw some funky mushrooms along the track. I would recommend giving yourself about 1-1.5 hours here for you to explore, try go during off peak times if you’re wanting photos and don’t want heaps of people walking around in the background. i’m scared to live a life without pain and darkness. i’m not sure how a life like that even feels. the truth is i have spent years mourning the loss of the happy girl i once was that now it’s gotten to the point where i no longer seem to know what happiness truly means. i guess maybe that’s why, i am constantly searching for reasons to not be happy; it’s like the thought of being happy just doesn’t make sense within my mind. i wish it did but how can it when my mind is full of scars and memories from battles i have fought that have broken me. i know it probably sounds so stupid that i am trying to hold onto a sadness which has ruined me completely but i guess it’s because this is the only thing i really know. it’s the only thing i can be so sure of staying. i have spent years fighting to hold on to the rails of life whilst this agonising pain tries to drown me to my death. this pain is the only thing that has stayed through everything. but it wasn’t always like this. i remember a time where i was so full of life. i was happy and believed that was how i would forever be. i was so innocent and naive to think that would be my forever. because it wasn’t. one day a deadly storm came, stealing away viciously from me the life i once had and in the process i lost myself completely. i don’t even know who i am anymore. all i know is that i’m not the woman i once was. instead i’m just some broken mess waiting for her life to be over in hope of maybe finally finding some peace, in her death. - 3am.wordss - @3am.wordss on Instagram

Hope y’all had a meaningful chag and wishing a Gmar chasima Tova to all 🤗 Had some time for contemplation today and upon thinking about why I find the customary tradition of sending best wishes to friends and family so tasking is because as with most things in life, I don’t take it lightly. For me it ain’t just lip service, I truly want to try and connect to what would feel meaningful to the other person, what might they be yearning for? What is the blessing I may impart that will make them feel seen, heard, understood and foster a greater connection? What might I be yearning for, have I even given thought and connected with those inner feelings and in turn perhaps related to that same yearning of a mutual other? We put a lot of emphasis on prayer on Rosh Hashona but being home with the kids has also given me the time and space to contemplate, connect and introspect. Perhaps this need for introspection is part of our innate makeup and thus having to do our motherly duties isn’t really just about motherly duties, but our duties to our self as well 🤷‍♀️ Thoughts? #inspiringmommyrunners . . Repost from @redhairedrunningmom • Its still green for a little longer, but those fall colors will be here soon. After preschool drop-off we went out for a run. My little one had fallen asleep in the car so we quickly transferred to the stroller and were on our way. I was hoping he would sleep for the full hour but he woke up after only 20 minutes. 🤷‍♀️ At least he was happy and seemed pretty content the rest of the run. I feel like this was my first speed session on a while. Even though sleep is still a battle, today felt better. I was better focused and less distracted by the stress and frustration going on. I thought about listening to music since the baby was sleeping, but going headphone free actually was really nice. I put my head in a positive place and just kept it there. Story time :: 5 years ago today. Woke up at 4:30am in Rotterdam and ran the last 65km of 3,174km after starting in Barcelona 4 months earlier, to finish in Amsterdam. @sharon_koelewyn had flown over from the UK the night before to push me along, even after popping a blister in her shoe at 50km, she kept charging! What a machine 🙌🏻💪🏻 @iesstagram welcoming us at the end like the legend she is. Running across Europe got some attention that helped raise $16,000 for @artsaccessaust , the national peak body for arts and disability in Australia. What I respect A LOT about artists is that the do something about their ideas and go all-in. Anyone with that approach to anything, I get super excited around. Some of it comes from thinking a lot about death, mostly about what we might think about if we’re lucky enough to have the chance to reflect at the end. I just know I’ll be fuuuucking pissed if I didn’t go full-gas and all-in on everything I tried. DA SÉRIE: TURISTANDO NA MINHA CIDADE Final de julho, após 4 meses de isolamento, resolvemos sair de carro e fotografar alguns pontos da cidade, aqueles que normalmente passamos correndo ou outros que nunca tinha tempo de ir. Escolhemos um domingo, acordamos bem cedo - parte difícil, confesso, mas a ideia era não encontrar ninguém na rua. 📸 Boulevard dos Oitis Essa rua de Araraquara encanta a todos que ali passam, os araraquarenses são apaixonados nela 💚 Sempre que alguém vem nos visitar passamos por ela e todos ficam admirados com seu charme. Ela fica bem na região central, conhecida aqui como rua 5 (Rua Voluntários da Pátria). Tanto durante o dia quanto à noite, vale a pena passar por ela só para admirar o grande túnel de Oitis que se ergue ao longo da rua de paralelepípedos e calçadas de arenito rosa. Spent so much of my time and energy seconding guessing myself, that I just wasn’t enough, petrified if things weren’t perfect it was unacceptable, inside my own thoughts reworking details and seeing flaws that I couldn’t let go of, holding myself back from just doing the things I loved to do bc they weren’t exactly how I wanted them to be. And now I can’t imagine planting those seeds of doubt in his head. Creating spaces where his failures are just par the course and not the defining manifestations of his journey. Городской особняк был спроектирован в стилистике раннего классицизма, подтверждением чему служат пилястры с коринфскими капителями на главной фасадной плоскости, углубления в стенах с тонко исполненными лепными деталями, розеточки во фризе, а также рустованная отделка нижнего этажа. Неформальное название – «несгораемый дом» – особняк получил после пожара, случившегося в 1812 году. Он был в числе немногих строений на этой московской улице, которые «пощадила» огненная стихия. Владельцев у особняка было несколько, в том числе и граф Голицын. Долгое время в этом особняке была больница, причем это произошло ещё до революции, что примечательно! Интересно, оправдает ли этот удивительный дом своё название и что будет с ним дальше..
