When a child (a person under 18 years of age) is induced to perform a commercial sex act, proving force, fraud, or coercion against the child’s pimp is not necessary for the offense to be characterized as human trafficking. Today on Day 17th of Poshan Maah we are going to deal with the “How Part”. ✨✅Addressing the needs of girls and women throughout their lives — the “life cycle approach” — can improve women’s nutritional status. Many nutritional deficits experienced in infancy and childhood have irreversible consequences, so interventions to support adequate nutrition from infancy benefit women later in life. ✨✅Intervention in Childhood: Common supplements for children include iron, vitamin A, and iodine. Iron is critical for cognitive development during the first two years of life, and girls may be at particular risk of iron because of their biology. ✨✅Fortifying cereals with iron, although helpful, may not be enough, so children may need iron supplements. Iodine can be provided in iodized salt, although it is important that the level of fortification be monitored by national authorities. ✨✅Ensuring that adolescent girls receive enough food, iron and folate supplements, and iron and iodine-fortified foods, as well as helping them delay their first pregnancy and protect themselves from sexually transmitted infections and other diseases, can help girls become healthy women. ✨✅It is vital that nutrition interventions be integrated into antenatal care programs (During Pregnancy). ✨✅Women should consume daily iron, Vit A and folate supplements for at least three months after childbirth and should receive other micronutrients as needed. Sometimes in life you meet people and know the purpose of meeting is greater than you know in the moment. That was my experience meeting Caroline Wanga. Brilliant, bold, purposeful, unapologetically herself. Truly a force, she built an impressive career at Target - most recently as Chief Culture, Diversity & Inclusion Officer & VP of HR – where they partnered with @essence on our Fashion House and Marketplace celebrating and providing opportunities for Black creatives, designers and businesses. Her commitment and life’s experience focusing on and elevating Black people and others who have been disenfranchised, making connections and helping build great organizations made her a clear choice to join our team. While we announced her a month ago as Chief Growth Officer overseeing culture (HR), market strategy and new growth opportunities, we also announced yesterday that we’re appointing her as acting CEO of ESSENCE. When ESSENCE’s longtime CEO stepped down in March, I stepped in temporarily to provide day-to-day leadership and launched a new CEO search - as I’ve always believed ESSENCE should be led by women. I asked Caroline to serve in an official interim CEO capacity in this time because I wanted to ensure that the Black women I have spent my lifetime working to empower feel confident that the external review, which I asked our team on Sunday to initiate with independent law firms/experts, would be a fair process. I am taking such extraordinary steps because I believe this is leadership in action and that our employees and communities deserve to feel safe in their love and support for this brand. Tenemos que enseñarle a la gente a normalizar y educar en el respeto y la diversidad. Conocía bien la historia de España y, particularmente, de Madrid. Pocos minutos antes había charlado con Antonio Jesús, de Puerto de Santa María, tengo 52 años, y 52 son los escaños de Vox en el Congreso. Además de política, hablamos de música, fotografía, bodas en las que los invitados tienen que llevar navaja... Me hizo gracias que cada uno llevaba su colección de pins en la cabeza: una con la bandera republicana, el Che Guevara y la paloma de la Paz. Otro con la bandera de España, la corona y la cruz cristiana. Alevi Turkmen are a religious minority of Turkey who practice Alevism. There are Alevi Kurds as well but majority Alevis are Turks. Most Alevi Turkmen identify as Muslim, and view Alevism as a sect of Islam, similar to Shias. Alevi Turkmen are mostly indigenous to central Anatolia, especially in and around the province of Sivas. Both the Ottoman Empire as well as Turkey has a history of persecuting it’s Alevi minority. They have suffered through countless massacres throughout history, and still experience a certain level of discrimination, mostly in the form of harmful stereotypes. But Alevi Turkmen have a very deep and rich culture, which they have managed to preserve through so many years of suppression, and have made great contributions to Turkish culture overall. Uncle Drew 🎬 Charles Stone III 🎥 Karsten Gopinath (Crash) @crashkg ... For the DI of last summer’s “Uncle Drew” we created a digital partial bleach bypass look. Bleach bypass, or silver retention, was a photochemical lab process where the bleach bath was skipped and the silver is retained on the emulsion along with the color dyes. The result is essentially a black and white image over your color image. On “Uncle Drew” we originally created a much harsher bleach bypass look, then dialed it way back to create a clean, poppy look. We also maintained strong saturation which you would not be able to get with a photochemical process.
