“𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐈 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥? 𝐎𝐡, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐥𝐲?”⁣ ⁣ Ésta fue mi frase de cabecilla desde hace mucho tiempo atrás. Qué pasa si caigo? Y qué pasa si vuelo?! ⁣ Les voy a contar un poco sobre la persona detrás de Brina Make Up. Mi nombre es Sabrina, de esa terminación el nombre de mi marca. Esta marca que inició como un hobbie cuando terminé de estudiar rrhh en la uba. Mientras cursaba hacía mi lista de pendientes y entre ellos estaba el de realizar un curso de maquillaje profesional. Curso que hice y terminé mientras trabajaba en oficina full time. Mi sueño era ser independiente, tener mi propio estudio, vivir del maquillaje, sonaba a imposible en mi mente. Luego continué mi formación y aprendizaje con maestros que me guiaron en este camino, y seguí con peinados, y después me apasioné con temas de piel y quise ir más allá. En ese camino me encontré con muchas trabas, y voces internas que me decían: tenes un trabajo estable, un sueldo a fin de mes, beneficios, y mucho más; y otras externas que me decían: no vas a poder vivir del maquillaje, eso no te va a dar de comer, tenelo como un hobbie en tus tiempos libres. Siempre que quería tomar el envión algo me frenaba, esas voces me frenaban y me quedaba ahí en el mismo lugar siempre, por años. Por años continué con mi trabajo estable y con mi “hobbie”, que ya no lo sentía tan hobbie. Hasta que un día ese trabajo estable, ese sueldo a fin de mes no estuvieron más (yo creo que fue una señal del universo, o al menos prefiero verlo así), y de repente me encontré fuera de ese espacio que habité por años, y me llene de miedos e incertidumbres. Estaba totalmente shockeada. Esa estabilidad se había desvanecido y ahí estaba yo en medio de un tsunami de emociones. Miré adentro, mis habilidades, mi estudio/gabinete, mis pacientas y clientas; y en ese momento esas voces desaparecieron, ya no había más “no puedo”, “no vas a vivir de esto”, “buscá otro trabajo de oficina”, y tantas otras voces desalentadoras. En ese momento me dije a mí misma “yo puedo”, “yo sí voy a vivir de lo que amo”, “yo voy a progresar”, “todo va a estar bien”, “voy a trabajar duro”.
