I teamed up with Kim Madsen where we drove the Danish Championship😊 We had 3 races in the 306 Maxi but due to a very heavy crash where the car got completely destroyed we changed car half way through the season. After months of not racing due to COVID-19, we were excited to back to the desert for the BITD Silver State 300. The weekend started off on a good note, as #RDE driver Ray Griffith qualified first in class 6100 with Kyle Craft close behind in 3rd. 14 Rancho equipped trucks took the green flag on race day. During the race, a large brush fire started on course and caused officials to move the finish line to Pit 6, around mile 220. In Trick Truck, Steve Olliges, who started mid-pack, worked his way up to a 3rd place finish. BJ Baldwin followed close behind in 4th place. The #23, driven by Dan McMillin came across the finish line in 6th. Young-gun Jax Redline ran in the top 5 most of the day, until he got a flat in the last few miles of the race. He would finish 7th. After qualifying 5th, Tracy Graf faced a few issues during the race and finished 8th. In the 6100 class, Travis Williams moved up from 11th to 2nd! Ray Griffith in the #6149, finished 4th. The #6108 was run on the new Gaunt Motorsports truck, who finished 5th in class. What a first day here in WRC Rally Estonia! 🇪🇪 10 stages were on the program for a total of 148.46km. After going through all these fast and technical stages, we are 22nd overall and 7th of the WRC3 category. #Repost @proctor_race ・・・ Baja 500 Race Recap A great day for the Honda Factory Off-Road team with a win for the Ridgeline and a P2 podium for the Talon! Ridgeline After drawing a starting position rather deep in the field, we had our work cut out for us working through some slower traffic. With an early start of 7am, there was not much wind, which made navigating through the thick Baja dust a challenge. Navigator Evan Weller was on point all day in the right seat as we clicked off early race miles. We earned two unfortunate tire punctures within the first 80 miles by taking too many risks to pass. Weller made quick work of the tire changes, and we were back racing towards race mile 80 where we had crew waiting for us with two fresh spare tires. Shortly after that successful pit we headed out to a very fast 30 mile lakebed section, while continuing to overtake traffic and attempt to find some clean air to stretch our legs. At race mile 160, we had a full fuel/ tire change stop. Our crew made quick work of the stop and we headed back out on course. By race mile 180, we began to find clean air and settle into a conservative pace while monitoring our split times on P2. Evan and I maintained pace, preserving the truck but still widening the gap on P2 by 80miles before we both got out at race mile 360 for driver Pat Daily and Michael Loomis to take the truck to the finish. This was a very fast, yet very rough Baja 500 that was demanding with such high ambient temperatures. We were fortunate to have a near perfect day and bring home the win in class! Talons Our Honda Talon team of Eliott and Christopher were prepared and ready to challenge Baja for the first time in a Honda SXS. Our strategy for both cars was to be competitive in the closing miles of the race. After getting off to a great start, unfortunately, we had to retire Christopher’s Talon early, while Eliott continued with great pace clicking off miles and working through a very rough and rocky course. With minimal down time all day and a well managed race by eliott and his navigator Quintin Tucker, they brought their #1893 Talon to the finish line in P2 after a long scorching hot day of Baja racing. - @hondaoffroadracing on Instagram

CERT RALLY TERRA DA AUGA .. ❗️FINAL ¡ZALDIVAR EN GRAN NIVEL CON PINCHAZO INCLUIDO! 👉 Meritoria tarea de Fabrizio Zaldivar -a bordo del Ford Fiesta #23- midiéndose con los principales talentos de las dos ruedas motrices en España. 👉 Desde el primer tramo ‘FAU’ libró una reñida batalla con Oscar Palomo Ortíz -referente de la Peugeot Cup Ibérica- repartiéndose dos especiales cada uno, al cabo de la primera mitad del recorrido. El ritmo impuesto les permitió ‘escaparse’ del resto del pelotón, con ventaja de 30 segundos. 👉 Por la tarde, con mucha lluvia y barro de por medio, ‘Fau’ penaría con un pinchazo en la llanta delantera derecha, cediendo 1m17s en el PE5 ‘O PINO’ y cayendo del segundo al sexto lugar. 👉 A buen ritmo y recuperando más de 15 segundos en el sector de ‘TOURO’ (SS6) -el incidente del Fiesta Rally4 de Javier Pardo- obligaría a la neutralización del siguiente tramo, dejando a Zaldivar con una sola especial para descontar: 💬 “..Hemos realizando grandes progresos en la hoja y en el estilo de manejo. Trabajamos muchas horas en la previa para pelear por la victoria. Nos faltó esa cuota de suerte, pero cumplimos el objetivo de ser competitivos hasta el final..”. ⚠️ Otro que padeció las inclemencias del camino fue Palomo Ortíz -quien lideró en soledad luego del percance de Zaldivar- hasta que un retraso en el tramo final le ‘serviría’ la victoria a Sergi Fráncoli, por sólo 3s9. 🇬🇧 Lahti Historic Rally 2020 The international Lahti Historic Rally 2020 will take place from Friday 14th to Saturday 15th of August. The competition is the seventh of the nine rounds of the FIA European Historic Sporting Rally Championship series. The first two events of this season, the Costa Brava in Spain and the Sanremo Rally Storico in Italy, have however been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The organizer of Lahti Historic Rally pays close attention to development of the global situation, but so far, the preparations continue as planned. The route of the upcoming Lahti Historic Rally contains around 150 competitive kilometers in six different special stages, all of them driven twice. The first two loops are driven on Friday when the rally heads to the region of Sysmä directly north from Lahti. On Saturday the rally returns to more familiar setting from the last few years, when route heads to the Lammi region west of Lahti. Both regions offer international and local drivers the most memorable of experiences on the legendary Finnish gravel roads. The start and finish ceremonies are once again at the picturesque harbor of Lahti and rally HQ including the service park and media center are situated at the Lahti Sports and Fair Centre. The reconnaissance takes place on Wednesday and Thursday the 12th and 13th of August. The international competition is once again joined by the national event, this year called the Top Building Rally. 🇫🇷 Nous navons pas pu terminer le rallye dAdriatico suite à un problème électrique dû à la forte pluie. Nous étions 3ème avant cela. Ce nest pas très grave, nous avons essayé à peu près tout ce que nous voulions. Nous pouvons être satisfaits de notre rythme. Nos concurrents utilisaient des pneus plus tendres que les nôtres, un avantage non négligeable sur ce terrain humide puis pluvieux, mais un choix volontaire car nous voulions utiliser les mêmes pneus que ceux que nous aurons en Sardaigne. Nous nous sommes également limités à 2 passages de reconnaissances. Ce fut un rallye très positif, nous avons trouvé de très bonnes choses sur la voiture, et jai aussi travaillé mon pilotage sur cette surface. Tout cela sera bénéfique pour la prochaine manche du WRC 😃 🇬🇧 Weve not been able to finish Adriatico rally. An electric problem caused caused by the heavy rain stopped the car. We were 3rd overall so far. Never mind, we managed to try everything we wanted to. We can be happy with our pace, our opponents were using softer tyre compounds, a true advantage on this damp then wet track. But that was on purpose as our aim was to use the same tyres we will use in Sardegna. Also, we restricted ourselves to 2 passes of recce. Its been a very positive week, we improved the car a lot and it suits me quite well, and I made some work on my driving for this surface. Nani Roma just drove over the podium with his BORGWARD BX7 EVO, so that means that the Dakar Rally 2020 is done! A tough rally with lots of difficulties, but we made it to the end! Nani had another good stage today and finished as 12th! After the podium Nani had the following to say: We just drove over the podium, we finished the 2020 Dakar in Saudi!!! I am really proud of the Borgward Rally Team and the work they did!! It was not the Dakar we expected and the ranking position does not show the real potential of the Borgward BX7 EVO. I am sure everybody learned a lot this race. This year was not easy but we finished the Dakar and that is important! We now look forward towards the future. Big, big thanks to the team members, they did a great job and no one can have any regrets about what they did. We did our very best this year, sometimes motorsport is like that. Well since everyone always wants to talk about how much more reliable 2wd will be than awd I thought I would run some numbers after KOH. We had 4 of our awd trucks there and unfortunately only had 2 finish. We arent perfect but we strive to get better all the time. So we had a 50 percent finish rate. I believe 10 2wd trucks entered the race and 4 finished....... well thats only 40 percent......... Oh yeah and the awd trucks were noticeably faster all day and @brycemenzies7 dominated all the way to the win in his @masonmotorsportsinc awd truck..............
