Using a big lens like a 600mm has its benefits but sometimes it can be a bit too much, case in point this big Steve Matusek flip directly in front of me during round one eliminations of the US Nationals. While the big lens is great for 90% of the track, its too close for the 10% in front of me. Most of these photos are completely uncropped. Well here we go.... last night I was involved in a hit and run collision on the Interstate headed home from work. A truck hauling a long trailer with a tractor got over in my lane as I was coming up on it and I collided with the back corner of the trailer. Afterwards he drove away from the scene. It was scary but by the grace of God I came away injury free but my car is totaled. I was in another serious accident 2 years ago headed home from a wrestling event on a rainy day where my car hydroplained into a median and it totaled my car at the time. Back then I going through a serious legal battle due to identity theft over my credit, I had no savings, didn’t have full coverage insurance and had no hope or clue on what I could do. I had a Guardian Angel named @kraigkeesaman that helped me through that time. I thank God everyday for him and for people like him. I learned from that time in my life. In the past two years I won my battle over my credit and got it fixed, I’ve done well for myself business wise to have a nice savings, and have full coverage insurance. So in a wild turn of events, less than 24 hours since I wrecked my car I was able to purchase another car today. It’s not new, it’s nothing special, but the fact I was able to get it and the polar opposite feeling compared to the devastation I felt two years ago is unimaginable. I’m blessed to have a car, I’m blessed to have the love and support from my friends, family, and fans. But most importantly I’m blessed to be alive. - @fuegodelsol_ on Instagram

Our bridge inspection crew was working over the Mississippi River this weekend when bridge inspector Craig Jenkins noticed a stranded dog beneath the bridge deck, 120ft above the river. Ryan Nataluk, lead climber and rescue technician for the team, quickly called the police for assistance and climbed down to the dog. After assessing her for injuries and fashioning a makeshift harness for the dog out of rope, Ryan lifted her to safety. Um acidente envolvendo uma moto e um caminhão deixou três pessoas feridas na rodovia Anchieta na altura de Cubatão (SP), na manhã desta sexta-feira (18). O caminhão colidiu com a estrutura de uma ponte e ficou destruído. Segundo apurado pelo G1 junto à Ecovias, concessionária que administra o trecho, o acidente aconteceu por volta das 10h30 na rodovia Anchieta, na altura do km 53. Um caminhão, que estava na pista sentido litoral, perdeu o freio no trecho de serra e bateu de frente com a estrutura de uma ponte, atingindo o motociclista que trafegava na mesma direção. O motociclista saiu da colisão com ferimentos leves, enquanto o motorista do caminhão e um passageiro foram socorridos pelo Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) em estado grave e moderado, sendo encaminhados a uma unidade de saúde de Cubatão. Segundo a Ecovias, por volta das 11h30, a faixa da direita ainda estava bloqueada porque os veículos envolvidos no acidente permaneciam no local. Por volta das 12h, o trecho foi liberado. Há congestionamento apenas no planalto, do km 39 ao km 42. O SAI está em Operação Normal (5x5). Para a descida, os motoristas utilizam a pista sul da via Anchieta e pista sul da Imigrantes. ❌Radfahrer stirbt nach Unfall mit LKW❌ Ein 47-jähriger Fahrradfahrer befuhr heute gegen 14.10 Uhr den rechten von zwei Fahrstreifen der Berliner Straße in westliche Richtung. Ein 32-jähriger Fahrer eines ausländischen Sattelzuges befuhr die Fahrspur in gleicher Richtung. Aus bislang ungeklärter Ursache kam es zu einer Berührung der beiden Fahrzeuge, in deren Folge der Radfahrer stürzte und anschließend vom Auflieger überrollt wurde.
