“Wall of Sound”. My big quarantine project was to remove all the remaining plaster on the wall that’s behind the radios, revealing the brick and then painting it. After that, the plan was to build custom shelves into the wall to properly display the radios and my turntables. But the plaster removal, patching and re-pointing the mortar took much longer than anticipated. I decided to temporarily build a stacked radio display for the time being so I could stop tripping over radios that were all over every room in the apt. I’m a little torn now because I love the way it looks currently. But I’d like to see more of the actual brick so I might have to do a little editing. We’ll see.
