Penelope came home from school with a note... a “love note”. 💌 She asked me to read it to her over and over, each time putting her hands over her heart with the biggest smile. Whatever you are picturing, multiply the drama by ten and include some fake fainting. The note read, “Penelope u rock. Thanks u 4 being my frend.❤️” I’ve spent the past 4 years so thankful for every day of her growth and health. I’ve encouraged her to be more independent, be brave in her choices, and always have confidence in herself. As sad as it is at times to see my baby grow up, I’m so grateful for this growth. With growth is health, new adventures, and love stories. Our biggest adventure as parents is to have the privilege of watching our kids grow old. Hugging my babies tight tonight, and always.
