Sweet “party animal” set for a safari loving 3 year old! This was a gifted set I did for a friend, so I thought I’d use this as an example to share a little behind my creative process. I never know how a cookie set is going to come together until it does. And I’m usually super stressed that it’s horrible, and I suck, and then by the time I photograph and package, my confidence is restored 😂😂💁🏼♀️ The first thing I always ask for is an invite, or pictures of decor for the event because 9/10 that’s where I pull the inspo from. (The other 1% is when people send me pictures of Pinterest cookies, and that’s fine too! Just leaves little creative wiggle room.) Then I honestly wait until the day before I have to bake, and I sketch..in bed haha. It’s true. I have to feel the impending doom of the time frame ahead of me before my good inspiration hits. I’m weird, but it works. And scroll to the end to see my sketch so you understand why I don’t share them ahead of time. It’s very rough (to say the least), and I change a lot of details as I go. In this example - I fully planned on doing a monkey, but as the colors came together I decided it needed a girlier element so I switched to flamingos. And the tiny polka dots were added after I decided the animal cookies looked too blank. And also because I knocked my paintbrush, so I had to think on my feet, haha. Hope that’s helpful for anyone who works with me to know! But it was the absolute simplicity of this @sunbeamaustralia Pie-oneer Digital Cookbook image that took my breath away. Snow Cakes Makes 6/8 small Ingredients * 340g vanilla cake mix * 1 cup soda water * ½ cup strawberry jam * 1 cup whipped cream * ½ cup icing sugar, dusting Method Place cake mix into a bowl. Slowly pour in the soda water, gently folding with a large spoon or spatula, until just combined, Do not over fold. Open lid of the @sunbeamaustralia Pie Magic and pour batter evenly into each pie hole. Close lid, turn on and cook for 10 minutes. Use a cake skewer to check if cake is cooked through. Place on a cooling rack and wait for cakes to cool. With a serrated knife, cut cakes in half and dust with icing sugar using a sifter. Spread with jam and cream, then sandwich together. Repeat. The easiest Lemon Cake Cookies made with Silken Tofu. 🌿 Soft and chewy with just the right amount of lemon. 🍋 Get the full recipe below! • • • Lemon Cake Cookies Ingredients: 1\2 Cup of Superior Natural’s Silken Tofu 1 Box of Lemon Cake Mix 1\3 Cup of Oil 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract 1\2 Cup of Powder Sugar 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice 1 Tablespoon of soy milk Lemon Zest *Optional: Top glazed cookies with sugar sprinkles Directions: Using a mixer, combine tofu, vanilla extract and oil together. Once all ingredients are combined, the dough will be sticky. Cover and refrigerate for one hour. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Using a tablespoon, scoop the dough and roll it into small balls. Add the balls of dough to a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. For the glaze, combine powder sugar, lemon juice, soy milk and lemon zest together and set aside. Once the cookies are finished baking, set them aside to cool. After the cookies are finished cooling, dip each top of the cookie into the lemon glaze and set on a tray for the glaze to set. Assaggiamo quello con granella di pistacchi o quello con granella di nocciole oppure quello al cacao o meglio quello con gocce di cioccolato...che bel dilemma 😜 La base della frolla è integrale con miele e olio. Pas à pas, suivez la recette de ces remarquables cookies à la Pâte à tartiner Noisettes 42% Michel CLUIZEL, et réalisez-les chez vous en toute simplicité ! ⠀ .⠀ Pour cette recette, vous aurez besoin des ingrédients suivants : ⠀ . 100 g de beurre⠀ . 200 g de Cassonade ⠀ . 60 g d’oeuf entier liquide ⠀ . 20 g de jaune d’oeuf liquide ⠀ . 75 g de Chocolat Kayambe Noir 72% Michel CLUIZEL ⠀ . 190 g de farine ⠀ . 20 g de poudre de cacao ⠀ . 5 g de poudre à lever ⠀ . 4 g de Fleur de sel ⠀ . 100 g de pépites de chocolat noir ⠀ . 20 g de noisettes entières brutes ⠀ . 150 g de Pâte à tartiner noisettes 42% Michel CLUIZEL ⠀ .⠀ Dans une bassine, mettez le beurre en pommade. Suite à cela, mélangez la cassonade, puis les jaunes et les œufs entiers et battez. Au bain mari, faites fondre le chocolat, puis incorporez-le doucement.⠀ Ajoutez la poudre de cacao, la poudre à lever et la farine tamisée, et battez avec constance.
