The day has finally come! After being closed for virtually 4 months the Visitor Centre is reopening again today! It will be open from 11am until 3pm today (Wednesday) and tomorrow this week, and the same again next week. Jetzt konnte der Oberbürgermeister dort das erste fertige Teilprojekt begutachten, denn vor wenigen Wochen hat die vom Deutschen Roten Kreuz betriebene Kindertageseinrichtung ihre Pforten geöffnet. 150 Kinder finden in dem kernsanierten und denkmalgeschützten Gebäude mit neuem Anbau Platz zum Spielen und Freundetreffen. Zudem befinden sich in dem Gebäude auch die neuen Jugendräume des CVJM. Die Arbeiten auf dem York-Gelände gehen weiter. Each year on Cape Cod we have a local race called Paddle For the Bays which pulls local and distance racers to do a 5 or 10 mile race around the three bays in Cotuit and Osterville to raise money for the Barnstable Clean Water Coalition. Due to COVID, the race as others have been, was canceled this year. Today, a group of us decided to do a paddle in honor of the race and provide a donation towards the Barnstable Clean Water Coalition as this race each year provides funds towards cleaner water ways. At 9am we were on the water with some headwind but then had the wind on our backs and an amazing ride home with a little unplanned detour for an ocean downwinder. Администрация Перми @admperm провела масштабный экологический фестиваль во второй раз. В этом году фестиваль стал заключительным событием экологического месячника, старт которому был дан в начале августа. Первая природоохранная акция состоялась на реке Егошихе: волонтеры очистили кромки и русло реки от мусора и обустроили «заповедник» – это ствол упавшего дерева, в котором могут жить разные виды животных и насекомых. В итоговый день фестиваля, 13 сентября, все желающие могли послушать на набережной Камы музыкальный концерт «Люди реки» и увидеть мистическую арт-секцию с видео-перформансами, стрит-арт-интервенциями, детскими мастерскими от «Чердака» музея PERMM и шествием гигантских светящихся рыб после заката. Волшебные рыбы были созданы пермскими семьями в ходе масштабной арт-резиденции и творческих мастер-классов. Кроме того, в этот день на набережной проходил фестиваль активных видов спорта на воде. Зрители смогли насладиться зрелищными показательными выступлениями по академической гребле, аквабайку, и гребному слалому, опробовать свои силы на уличных тренажерах по гребле. Продюсерский центр «KAMWA» @kamwapro представил 7-ми часовую программу «Люди реки» с участием музыкантов из Перми, Санкт-Петербурга, Москвы, Петрозаводска. Today we ran the SUP STAR SKILLS 1 Dynamic Movement on the Menai Strait. The session focused on paddling skills in challenging conditions, touring and turning on the move. Port Isaac RNLI was tasked at 18:46 this evening to reports of a person in the water near Dunderhole Point, Tintagel. @PadstowLifeboat @boscastle coastguard team and Coast Guard rescue helicopter 924 also were tasked. 924 was quickly on scene and airlifted the casualty from the water where they were flown to hospital. It’s amazing how Oakville has become a paddling town this summer. There’s always been a lot of competitive paddlers training on the river from the @burloakcanoeclub and sailboats on Lake Ontario on weekends and evenings, but now more than ever before there are recreational paddlers on the lake in considerable numbers. Somedays I’ll count more than 40 while I’m out there, in a wide array of paddle craft from SUPs to kayaks to outriggers and surf skis, outnumbering by far the sailboats or fishing boats. Paddling is pretty much the perfect social distancing activity and in the summer of COVID it seems to have really spiked in popularity. It’s a pleasure to be joined on the water by so many others and it appears that the secret is finally out - Oakville is one of the best places you’ll find to paddle. Спортсмены 60+ с которыми мы познакомились на кубке Президента по гребле на каноэ и байдарке.💪 Их успехи мотивируют! ⠀ У Сигачёва Валерия в этом году юбилей! 18 сентября он отметит 60 лет! В детстве и юности Валерий занимался греблей на каноэ. Но после поступления в институт, времени не хватало, и занятия каноэ пришлось оставить. Как часто бывает, в любимый спорт нас возвращают дети. Так случилось и у Валерия - он привел в каноэ своего подросшего младшего сына и потихоньку втянулся сам. Позже Валерия пригласили в команду по гребле на лодках Дракон. И сейчас он активно тренируется на Драконах, а также плотно занимается греблей на каноэ. Валерий старается участвовать во всех международных соревнованиях Европы и Азии. Он семикратный чемпион мира. ⠀ Напарнику Валерия - Сергею Викторовичу Точенову 64 года. Ветеран спорта, мастер спорта по каноэ. К гребле на каноэ привлёк всю семью и гоняется в двойке со своей внучкой. Многократный победитель международных соревнований и олимпиад. ⠀ В Новой Зеландии эти спортсмены выступали в одной лодке и стали олимпийскими чемпионами среди ветеранов. ⠀ Как им удаётся быть в такой отличной форме?
