New case and it looks like she’ll be a permanent Pawco dog. While on her feeding rounds, our member spotted one of her dogs sitting on the side of the road in a puddle to cool off. While she turned the car around to feed her, a car ran over the dog and just left! Imagine that! So now the dog is under our care , she has some genital and spinal injury but is eating normally. her meds have started and we are sure she’ll be fine. Always sitting with her tongue out she’s a nice , docile dog who dsnt give anyone or any other dog any trouble. Today was one of the hardest days of my life. If anyone truly knows me they know I absolutely love my dog Bubic or Bubz for shorts. Unfortunately today was his final ride with on going medical issues failing legs and witnessing a true struggle with everyday life. I had to make the emotional decision to let my dog go to better place. This is a very sad day for me. Bubic was a legend at all my parties and possibly the coolest dog ever. His love for cookies, being under blankets and Belly rubs will forever be remembered. He was a real mack to the ladies but in a respectful way. I will be posting all pictures I can find of Bubz so anyone that has pics please post them on my wall. He was most importantly my best friend and got me through a lot in life. My name is Mister and I am the newest Homeward Bound rescue. And guess what??? I get to be the spokespug this Friday for$5 Friday! I am so excited and I was asked cuz I have a lot of health issues right now and Homeward Bound has already helped me a lot and I think spent lots of money. So now I get to help them. Here is my story: I am about ten years old and always had the same family but they can no longer care for me. I have back end issues and when I came here I could barely walk. After a couple of days, I couldnt walk at all and would just drag myself around. I could barely go potty by myself and didnt want to eat. I went straight to the vet and got a shot to help me walk, something called a urinalysis, more shots, a heartworm test and bloodwork. I tried to be a very good boy. I am now on meds for an infection and the shot helped me walk again!! And I like my meals now too. I have to go back in a couple of weeks to be rechecked and if well enough I will get a neuter (that doesnt sound so good) and a dental cuz I got bad toofers. . I am hoping even more people donate this Friday to show Homeward Bound how much I appreciate them and to help my new friends with vet bills and such. And I have a little secret so shhhhhhh. Mama Gail is not going to be here this Friday as she is going to see her son for her birthday. So all the more reason to raise lots of money and surprise her with how good I did. I think I may need some help from some other friends but I know we can do it. As always five bucks is all we ask for but if you can and wish to, you can donate more.
