Gutted. 😫 Despite the end result, What an experience it was to start off pole position at the British GP on my return to @fiaf3, unfortunately I fluffed the start (4years of no standing starts took its toll 🤣) but I was running strongly in 3rd, then at the halfway point I had a fuel pump failure and didn’t finish... We deserved more after getting the teams best qualifying of the season on Friday and a P10 on Saturday we were having a strong weekend. @carlinracing did a mega job, we learnt huge amounts across the two weekends and took huge steps forward! Big thanks to my engineer @jimcrocker1985 mechanic @swchilds92 and the rest of the F3 crew for the mega job! It was amazing to be back 🙏🏼 and again thanks to @mclaren_customerracing for allowing me to do this. - @ben_barnicoat on Instagram
