It’s my second week of #MondayMisses and I’m already breaking my own rule. 🤦🏻‍♂️ ⠀ In 2018 I purchased SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic. It’s been around since 2005 and I’d read nothing but glowing reviews so I knew I needed it. ⠀ At the time I was working my way through (pretty much) the entirety of The Ordinary’s line. Every week somebody online was saying something was their latest “Holy Grail” and so I bought it and slapped it on my face and waited for the miracle to happen. 🙄 ⠀ So, when I tossed CE Ferulic into this chaotic routine it was a bit unfair but also, it was a waste of time and money. It was (almost) the most expensive miss I’d experienced. ⠀ Fast forward two years and I decided to use up a sample size I’d had lying around for awhile. After giving it another go and reading a resurgence of glowing reviews for it, I was encouraged to buy this serum again. ⠀ Now that my routine is more stable and I’m not throwing anything and everything at my face, I’ve had a much different experience. ⠀ Within a few days I could see a brightening of my skin and after a few weeks my overall complexion and tone has evened out loads. ⠀ It’s a watery serum but not watery enough that you need half a bottle to get a good covering before it completely dissipates. I find about five drops gives me enough to cover my face and neck. It leaves no film or tackiness. It’s a perfect consistency for me. ⠀ Now it’s not cheap and the cost does still make me gulp a little but if you can justify the cost and you use it correctly, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. ⠀ I just need to try more from the range now. Open to recommendations..! ⠀ I got mine from @johnbellandcroyden and had great customer service. I paid for it.
