Went dumpster diving last night and couldn’t resist the overload of organic carrots that I’ll be eating in all its forms in the coming days. My #tbt is to last years rainbow mix carrots 😍 🥕 The varieties are: creampak, gold nugget, nantes, red samurai and purple sun. 🥕 They were so sweet and crunch and obviously as fresh as you can get with a few steps from the garden to the house. I’d say the creampak was just the tiniest bit sweeter of the ones we tried. No nasty chemicals used here, just good old compost and sand in a large pot. 😊 🥕 You can tell why the red samurai is called so in the last pic. Last week my husband (who does the shopping) told me @morrisons have introduced a new egg box for some eggs 🥚 lightweight and rectangular so presumably with reduced cardboard content. Meanwhile @sainsburys have recently introduced single use plastic egg boxes.
