Remembering Junior ‘Jux’ Delgado born on 25 August 1958. Photographed here with Augustus Pablo at Island Records, London on 1 December 1987. Swipe to see a few a cyanotypes from that session and finally a live shot of him once again with Augustus Pablo at the Astoria Theatre on Charing Cross Road, London on 22 November 1987. Whereas Pablo was almost meditative and barely moved when playing keyboards or melodica, Jux was constantly charging around the stage, laughing and leaping everywhere. Great to watch but hard to shoot on a dimly lit stage.
