#Munnar The Eravikulam National Park in Keralas Idukki district, famously known as the habitat of the Nilgiri Tahr, opened for the public on Wednesday, informed Wildlife Warden R Lakshmi. The park was closed for the breeding season of the Nilgiri Tahr, and was scheduled to open mid-March, but this year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the park was not opened. The park has reopened after eight months. All COVID-19 protocol will be followed and maintained, Lakshmi told ANI. She added that several months of closure had resulted in a loss of nearly Rs 4 crore. The months of April and May used to be the peak time of tourist arrival. In May, the number of tourists visiting the park used to cross 1.5 lakh. There has been a loss of nearly Rs 4 crore. she said. Vehicles will be disinfected before parking and visitors will not be permitted to touch any of the animals in the park. We will also conduct temperature checks and if the body temperature is high, the person will not be allowed to enter the park, she added According to a survey conducted by the Tribal Watchers, 111 Nilgiri Tahrs were born this breeding - @tripkerala on Instagram

Tutto normale, ho pensato, perché in effetti in Italia succede ogni giorno. Ma è qui che arriva la cosa interessante e potete vederla scorrendo le immagini: lufficio comunicazione della rivista si è procurata il mio indirizzo e mi ha scritto per dirmi tre cose semplici: che il commento è stato cancellato, che lautore è stato segnalato e che tutti loro erano molto dispiaciuti che io lo avessi dovuto leggere. Immaginate il mio stupore. In questi anni di hatespeech, bodyshaming e minacce non è mai accaduto che un recensore, un editore, un festival o una direzione di giornale abbiano fatto questo semplice gesto di pulizia e distanziamento davanti a qualcuno che metteva in atto lhatespeech. Quello che succede in Italia è invece il contrario: ogni settimana un hater scrive su di me e altre autrici post, tweet e articoli dello stesso tenore di quel messaggio, ma poiché ha nome e cognome e recensisce libri su un quotidiano, non solo non viene allontanato, ma conta tra i suoi followers su FB e TW molte persone che conosco e stimo. Editori (pure miei), editor (pure miei), giornalisti culturali, scrittori (pure amici miei), librai e direzioni di premi. Gente che vede quei commenti e tace. Gente che non crede che lodio e la misoginia siano un problema culturale di cui un sistema culturale dovrebbe farsi carico. Gente che pensa che parole come quelle siano un affare di chi le riceve, non di chi le dice e di chi le ignora. Amici silenti e menefreghisti, mi fate un po schifo. Unfortunately, we are overburdened with sick, abandoned and injured animals, flowing into our shelter. It is not possible to keep animals in our shelter, as we have no more space, which is why we are requesting individuals to bring sick animals for treatment everyday but take them back. . This young lady came back an hour later and DUMPED her pet cat right outside our gate and like a coward ran away in her luxury car for which she probably paid lakhs of rupees, but cannot afford to take her cat to a vet and save its life. . Little did she know, her vicious act was being caught on camera. WE HOPE WHOEVER RECOGNISES HER, INFORMS HER THAT SHE WAS RECORDED ON OUR CCTV CAMERA. . MISSION POSSIBLE IS AN NGO IT IS NOT GOVERNMENT FUNDED. . WE ARE STRUGGLING WITH THE LOAD OF OVER 1200 ANIMALS IN BOTH OUR SHELTERS. . Und als wären Menschlichkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft und Corona nicht schon genug Gründe gewesen, das Lager augenblicklich zu evakuieren, kam es in der Nacht auf den 9. September zu einem Brand. Fast das gesamte Lager wurde zerstört. Die Menschen befinden sich jetzt auf den Straßen. Schon länger haben mehrere Bundesländer und Städte angeboten, Geflüchtete aus dem Lager aufzunehmen. Studio Two Three is rooted in community collaboration, shared tools and space, and in-person events, so the COVID-19 pandemic created its own unique set of challenges. All of our equipment and art-making tools sat unused when we closed the building for three weeks to evaluate safety protocols and self-quarantine. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We soon transformed our event space into a safely-distanced sewing shop because we believe that artists play an essential role in the health and wellbeing of our community. For 13 weeks, we worked with a group of community partners and over 150 volunteers to produce 10,000 masks for essential workers. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When the murder of George Floyd set in motion a national uprising to defend black lives, we felt it was our role use the tools we have on hand to support this movement and share important information with the people of our community. Weve been producing free risograph, letterpress, and silkscreened images that we are sharing widely in the newspaper box in front of our studio as well as hosting community print days at Marcus David Peters Circle. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Arts and culture are the expressions of a civically-engaged community. Restaurant Workers Relief Program: Due to the closure of the restaurants in Boston, we have an urgent need to help the thousands of restaurant workers who find themselves suddenly without work, a paycheck or a support system. Independent restaurants are at the center of the vibrant growth in America. For the past decade, we have relied on the Boston hospitality and independent restaurant scene to make this the proud city we call home. Now restaurant workers need your help more than ever. If we don’t take a stand and do something now, there WILL NOT be an independent restaurant industry when the COVID-19 crisis is over. Starting Monday March 30th in partnership with @makersmark @leeinitiative and @chefedwardlee, @BlueDragonBos from 3-5pm will turn into a relief center for any restaurant worker who has been laid off or has had a significant reduction in hours and/or pay. They are offering help for those in dire need of food and supplies. Each night, they will pack hundreds of to go dinners that people can come pick up and take home. Dinners are offered on a first come, first serve basis. Limit 1 per person unless there is an emergency situation. They will also have essential supplies on hand for free, but will limit how much we can give to provide for as many as possible. @sfchronicle has published an article from Phil Matier with the clickbait headline: Shopping in SFs Tenderloin is wide open- for illegal drugs, that is Mr. Matier goes on to site @sfdph statistics, explaining that drug overdoses are a public health crisis, which is certainly accurate.   He then makes an effort to convince his readers that more enforcement of street level drug sales crime and lengthier prison sentences for those convicted as the answer to the public health crisis directly impacting the least privileged and empowered in our city.   He takes little time to inform us of who is responsible for the supply side of this equation, other than to tell us they are Honduran criminals who live in Oakland.  This sentence from Mr. Matier is nakedly racist, anti-immigrant, and lazy journalism.  He also quotes our newly elected DA, @chesaboudin, who paints a more complex picture without low hanging fruit solutions, although Mr. Matier chooses not to delve into these complexities in his editorializing. Father admitted her daughter with excuse that she got brunt while cooking meal. 60% of victim body was brunt and after this critical condition doctors of pithoragarh referred her to Susheela Tiwari Government Hospital Haldwani on 1st May . Then She was finally able to give her statement to police on, following which Haldwani police registered a case against the accused elderly person, who works in a government department. Hoy #Ica No solo pudo mantenerse en pie sola, hoy camino y sin carrito!!! #Ica llego a #CRRE con ambos carpos luxados, con todos los extensores de ambos miembros cortados, una infección y miasis (bichera), se veían los huesos y articulaciones. El pronostico era el peor.. incluso ya le habían diagnosticado donde la encontraron que había que eutanasiarla. Su tratamiento (que aun sigue) lleva ya casi 3 meses de yesos, férulas, vendajes especiales, limpieza, antibióticos, fisioterapia y más.. Ayer después de ver como ella había comenzado durante la semana a sostener su propio peso y descansar en el arnés, decidimos que era tiempo de empezar a volver a caminar. Los primeros pasos fueron un lio, al no poder extender sus brazos se complicaba avanzar, pero con unos minutos de practica Ica empezó a entender por donde iba la cosa.. Pasito a pasito llegamos afuera, más lejos de lo que jamas habíamos llegado, antes solo andábamos por el piso firme del galpón. Sintió el sol en todo su cuerpo después de meses, comio pasto y eso creemos que la fortaleció y motivo a ir por más... Quiso avanzar a donde estaba el pasto más verde, eso llevo un tiempo y ahí decidimos quitarle el arnés. Creímos que al hacerlo se iba a echar como siempre porque no aguantaba, estaba bueno que tome una siesta al sol.. Pero no! Ella no se iba a acostar, nos dejo a todos boquiabiertos porque empezó a caminar y comer sola sin ayuda. Y ahí entre lagrimas saladas de alegría y emoción todos nos quedamos admirandola porque ella le gano a la muerte, porque nunca se entrego, porque tenía todo en contra pero nada la pudo detener. No nos debe nada y aun asi nos dio es el regalo más hermoso a todos los que estuvimos ahí para ella, una victoria para atesorar por siempre en el corazón.
