10 years ago i lost my mom Leila , a real mom full of love who cares about her family and brings happiness wherever she is. I understood the sadness and adapted to it. That’s where my little sister stepped up and took our mom’s role. She got sick with cancer but was the biggest fighter and did not make us feel a thing. Instead she surrounded us and made us all feel warm and special. She was my mom, my friend , my sister , my love , my second half , my everything. Gisele fought cancer for 9 years with faith and love towards her family, and towards every person that loves her. I lost my mom again , i lost gisele , i lost everything. Now , they are both missed more than words can ever describe. Moms, i’ve felt your absence every day of my life since you were stolen from me. I will never forget both of you. A part of me is still lost and i keep wondering if i will ever get back on my feet The only thing left ,is the rest of my family who gives me love. Gisele , i have your kids now ( god bless them) , i hope i can give them some of the love you had for them. The Deads publicist Dennis McNally called me and asked if I wanted to attend this event. I said yes in a New York minute. Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and representatives from environmental organizations sat on the panel to alert the world to the horror of the vanishing rainforest.
