To launch its new Bloody Comfy Period Undies, Bonds is on a mission to inspire period confidence by encouraging teens to Live Life Unplugged. Leakproof, better for the planet, and bloody comfy, the undies reduce the need for disposable products, allowing people to experience periods “unplugged.” To celebrate this new, more natural way to period, Bonds enlisted @jasmintarasin to shoot a series of candid interviews and live performances with an all-star gang of female artists. Ayer @natalieperez presentó #RITUAL Ritual llevo varios meses de trabajo, no solo por el aislamiento y la virtualidad, sino porque siempre quisimos hacer algo diferente y de calidad. Dificil, porque estamos aprendiendo como hacer para que las personas sobresaturadas de pantalla puedan disfrutar de un show en vivo pero con una calidad y un relato que sea atrayente después de tantos meses de sobredosis de pantallas. La clave fue el trabajo en equipo, entender que no tenía que ser un video clip y tampoco un simple concierto transmitido por plataformas de streaming, pero la calidad debía ser alta: con esa textura y profundidad propia del cine. Nos pusimos un objetivo alto y lo logramos. El Ritual es necesario para limpiar y poder recibir lo nuevo. Y acá estamos: descubriendo nuevas formas de pensar un espectáculo, de relacionarnos y de trabajar. Gracias @natalieperez por la confianza, por la frescura, por la belleza de tu voz y por ser el pilar de este hermoso proyecto. Gracias @flor_donini por pensar en mi para este desafio y empezar un camino juntes. Gracias @denkemelmajer por el amor desde el dia uno, por confiar y acompañar, y felicitaciones por lo que vienen construyendo. El equipo creativo hermoso que formamos junto a @supersizegal y @chichocalvo, dandole forma y color a ese universo. Hermoso el trabajo de @tamitornello poniendole amor a los detalles. When we came up with the basic idea of a video for a guy “who just can’t go fast enough”, I wasn’t expecting @pukapla (director) and @andyhoffman.x (cinematographer) to actually just drive to Utah and buy a Fiat to film 🥵, but they did and came back with these amazing shots. And super neat watching how they and the very talented crew made the additional studio shots happen here in Oakland. Feelin a little guilty that I chose a turtleneck and leather jacket for Mac’s character, it was pretty hot those 2 days. At a certain point I put on the backup turtleneck and leather jacket ready for action in case something went down. Very happy with how it turned out and thought everyone who worked super hard on it did a great job of matching the mood of the song so thanks again, this was a ton of fun to do with y’all.
