Framed by the Atlantic and capturing its genuine rawness, BRUSCO is for the fearless who move forward without looking back. BRUSCO’s packaging has been inspired in the rough movement of opening a packing. The rip in the front of the package underlines the movement which gives name to the brand. To reinforce the Atlantic aspect present in the brand’s universe, we have collected several resilient plants which exist in the seafront of these territories. BRUSCO stands for environmental responsibility and sustainability, bringing these values to the core of the brand’s DNA, along with an emotional yet performance-focused narrative. For this reason, the packages are eco-friendly, free of any plastic or toxic components, produced of micro-perforated 1mm cardboard, printed in water ink with personalised cutters. Each different product depicts a different plant: Maritime Thistles, Sea Fennel, Stone Cactus, Exposed Cactus, Fetus and Ice plants. All the additional information (such as size and number of pieces) is placed in a fluor-yellow sticker, which stands out strikingly from the packaging. El camino al Hospital de Vall d’Hebrón se hizo eterno. Sería imposible volver a otra cita en ese lugar, demasiado lejos, demasiado complicado llegar, no lograba retener la ruta en mi mente, iba acostada en la silla de pasajero mientras Pancho conducía. Apenas entré al antiguo pabellón de enfermería, ahora unidad de psiquiatría, tenía el corazón a mil y sentí vértigo al entrar en el ascensor de puertas metálicas, viejas, ruidosas y torpes que se cerraban con una agresividad que aturdía. ¿Cómo podía la fealdad de un lugar dolerme tan hondo? Cómo podía ser tan desolador un hospital? Sentía que entraba en un manicomio de la posguerra. Alguien leyó alguna vez “Los renglones torcidos de Dios” de Torcuato Luca de Tena? Yo lo había leído a los 14 años y de inmediato esa sensación me invadió, empecé a temblar de miedo pensando que estaba cayendo en una trampa y me dejarían ahí para siempre. Siendo un hospital público era normal que la sala de espera estuviera llena, pero el Dr. Bruguera, no me hizo esperar, me recibió en su pequeño despacho con una mirada amable y silenciosa. Entré desconfiando de él por ser hombre. Empezó preguntándome sobre mi pasado pero yo no lograba conectar con la persona que había sido antes y tenía que mirar a Pancho para que me ayudara a responder, yo misma no sabía quién era ni quién había sido. Después de oír mis respuestas y ver cómo hablaban mi cuerpo, mi cara, mis ojos, mis manos, mis dedos, me dijo suavemente que teníamos que empezar un tratamiento contundente, no podía seguir así. Siempre en voz baja, lenta, suave y mirada serena. Tras oírme un rato largo, dijo tener claro que lo mío era una depresión posparto, que llevaba mucho tiempo sin atenderse debidamente. Él, siendo jefe de psiquiatría, dijo que tenía que derivarme con un especialista en postparto que me podría ver el lunes. Sentí más miedo. Otro hombre, otro desconocido. Estábamos a miércoles. Empezaría tratamiento ese mismo día y él quería verme de nuevo en dos días para ver cómo reaccionaba a los medicamentos. While the traditional institution of the archive with its sense of permanence and timeless solidity, its physical location and architecture continues to exist, in today’s world of digitized information, archives are becoming radically temporalized, multimodal, and detached from any specific space in line with a dynamic user culture. Any materials retrieved from these heterogeneous archives can be reused, recontextualized, or restaged, with the possibility of reconfiguring them in any conceivable arrangement. Artists today, more than ever before, are working with archive documents, research, information, and data, processing their material in innovative ways and opening it up to our collective memory for retrieval and reinterpretation. Taste the flavors of Italy with orecchiette pasta with broccolini and grape tomatoes made with our #handcrafted ingredients. Ingredients: 8 oz of fresh broccolini ½ cup grape tomatoes, sliced in half ½ cup Vigne Vecchie Olive Oil 2 garlic cloves, diced or crushed 1 tsp crushed red pepper, add more to taste to increase spice 2 cups of Vigne Vecchie Orecchiette pasta 1 ½ cups water ½ cup parmesan cheese Pinch of salt, to taste Directions: In a large pot, bring 6 cups of water and 1 tbsp of salt to a rolling boil. Add Orecchiette and cook, stirring occasionally, until al dente, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside. In a large saucepan, add oil, garlic and crushed red pepper. Sauté until garlic begins to turn golden, around 3-4 minutes. Stir in broccolini and tomatoes, cover with a lid, and cook for 2 minutes. Add 1 ½ cups of water, salt to taste and stir to combine. Continue to cook, uncovered, for a total of 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add Orecchiette into the saucepan and stir to combine. Reduce to low heat and cook for 3-4 minutes.
