If you feel like life isnt fair to you, or that you are always getting the crap end of a deal. Dont worry, youre not alone. Im 100% with you in that feeling. It seems like every time I turn around Im constantly reminded of what Ive lost, what my family has lost. And its an endless circle. But one thing I have tried to learn or help myself with year after year is to not let the devil win. Dont let him even come and sit down. Trust me, its not easy...at all. And loosing my dad was extremely difficult for me to process, and still is at times. So much harder for me than loosing Mom. Maybe because of my age. I was 15 when Mom passed and 26 when my Dad passed. Or maybe it was the fact that at 26 I no longer had my parents. Its been 9 years and I will never forget who was there for me during that time... There is not a day that goes by that Im not reminded of my dad. Work truck names, old cars, random cigarette smells in my house (when no one smokes near us). A year ago today, I woke up from a horrific sudden cardiac arrest. Tonight, after a slight delay due to passport issues, I am on my way to play the Pounding Metal Festival with the mighty @toxikmetal !! I look back at coming out of a scary fog, and think about what a year it has been. Much loss and change, but mostly all for the good. I have come back pretty strong physically, and I look forward to facing my mental challenges on a daily basis. 🙄 stronger than ever at the gym..350x2 back squat..who knew?! Meet Lindsay! He has an impressive 19 years with Gallagher under his belt and has supported farmers and retailers over two territories.
