so fall is upon us and it’s my favorite season ever. the feeling of a new sense of clarity and reset during a cozy season is what I live for. of course living through a pandemic shifts our daily routine but it’s also a good reminder to slow down and step back, and take care of what really means a lot to us. ~ rn I have been feeling a lot of physical exhaustion digestively and mentally. ex - migraines, headaches, etc. since the new season is just right around the corner. I want to make sure to completely do a full reset in every aspect of my life. rearrange my bedroom, clean out my closet, throw away things that doesn’t serve me anymore, making lists, and making beneficial changes that serves my higher purpose. to all my adhd/add girlies out there I KNOW what it feels like to have a messy room and mind. I’m dealing and maybe will forever deal with it for the rest of my life. do you ever just wanna clean everything up but can’t cause you don’t know where to start or even do because your head is just a huge cluster? because same, I have been trying to figure out how to just slowly make lists of things I need to do. for instance I use a method I created called 1 2 3 steps. list the first top three things you want to get out of the way and once those are done, make another 1 2 3 list and go on from there. when you tell yourself that those things on your list are a huge priority you’ll get things done a lot faster and create a sense of clarity! - @manukaglow on Instagram

autumn punch calendar! 🍂🍁🦇🕷👻🍁🍂 hi guys it’s @hellokristendickson here with a mini-tutorial for the punch calendar I made last October, I posted this in my stories yesterday and got a bunch of questions! here’s how I made it: 1) bought a small/medium sized trifold poster board (mine was from target) 2) bought small clear mini cups, which I used to trace holes at even intervals on the back side of the board 3) used an x-acto knife to cut out the holes (this was the most tedious part) 4) covered each hole with a square of tissue paper 5) wrote out the activities onto pieces of paper and placed them in the cups, one for each day (make sure you keep track of which activities you’ve placed in which cups!) 6) superglue the rims of the cups onto the tissue paper to match the holes you’ve cut 7) let dry, and decorate! thanks guys! you can swipe through for process pics and to see all our october activities. I really miss making sandwiches. Our new shop @darkepines_downtowner was supposed to open today. I’ve always loved the food industry and knew from a very early age that I would open something one day. We took a leap of faith and secured the lease in October and have spent the past five months gearing up to open, in addition to running @darkepines during the busy holiday season. We have Will’s parents to thank for painting and pouring their love into the space. During these uncertainties, who knows when (or if) we will be able to open, but I hope we get a chance to serve Jersey City soon. Forty. I don’t dread the years to come; I welcome them with open arms and an excited heart! It just keeps getting better. My sweet husband had these rings made for my birthday today. They are raw stones of our children’s birthstones. So now I have beautiful rings I wear on my left hand that is a reminder of the precious covenant I made with my amazing husband, and now beautiful rings on my right hand to remind me of the most precious blessings that have come from that covenant. Raw stones are simply just unfinished— they need the care of a master to become shiny, precious gem stones. I know the Lord ultimately owns my children, but I’m so grateful He has placed them in my hands while they are raw. The Lord has been SO good to me for the forty years I’ve spent on this earth. He has cared for me through the good and the bad moments. He has loved me when I’ve felt unlovable. He has slowly polished the raw edges of who I am, in working towards who He wants me to be. I’m still unfinished and I’m looking forward to all the polishing work God still has for me! He’s been a Father that truly gives good gifts! Thank you for all the love I’ve been shown today. It’s absolutely wonderful to have the recently restored sundial re-instated in the Formal Garden at Buda! It has been many years since the unique sundial, made by Dorothy Leviny, has been on display, due to damage requiring specialist repairs. We are very fortunate in Castlemaine to have the skills and talent in our very midst, with Neil Tait of Tait Decorative Iron so willing and able to take on the task. We are grateful to Neil for carrying out the work as an inkind contribution to Buda. While there was a window of opportunity, the sundial surrounds were also rejuvenated, and we want to thank our fabulous supporters Kate Marquard and Diane Linton who made financial contributions towards the repairs to the slate-work, with Jill and the Garden Volunteer team doing the preparation and replanting around the base – which is looking great! Dorothy Leviny embraced decorative metalwork when she was in her forties, making it her specialised craft. I went through all of our wedding photos this morning and got a little leaky eyed with joy thinking about all the incredible people that celebrated with us 3 years ago. I have just realized that I have never put a face to Meg’s Mystics! • • Allow me to introduce myself: My name is Meg and I am the creator of Meg’s Mystics. I am a 20 year old college student studying psychology and I am based out of central mass. Most recently I decided to quit my job working at a nursing home to pursue my business. That would now make Meg’s Mystics my full time job! • My journey began back in 2016 when I decided to take my mental health into my own hands and explore other avenues of healing.
