I used to deadlift 500 lbs at 180 lbs body weight when I was 20 years old. I was pretty strong for my size, but my muscle imbalances were getting worse and worse each year. - Eventually I reached a point where I couldnt run, hike, play basketball, or do ANYTHING without pain in my shoulders, back, and knees. - The funny thing was, I could still deadlift 500 lbs, but what did that matter if I couldnt do anything else? - Dont wait for your body to get into this state.
