Today i’ll be doing a pretty in depth post about binding safely! I did a post last week regarding binding and covid but this one will carry a lot more safety and technique information in it! What is chest binding? Its the act of compressing your chest to achieve a certain appearance (typically because a person wants to look less femme) Binding is not for any specific gender or sexual orientation, anyone can do it if it brings them more comfort in their body! Okay lets go over the KEY rules for binding! First things first we will talk about how bandages, plastic wrap and duct tape are NOT safe or okay for binding plus if you use these and they cause damage to your ribs you may be unable to get top surgery in the future if thats a desire of yours. They all can cause breathing issues and bandages can constrict and cause serious damage. The most popular safe options are store bought binders, sports bras, and being strategic with shirt layering. Another option that ive included a picture of is taking a pair of tights (nylons) and cutting a hole through the crotch region and cropping the “sleeves” and wearing it like you would a tshirt. Now lets talk technique! It is KEY to not wear your binder longer than 8 hours at a time, and do not sleep in it. Always listen to your body, if it needs a break take one. Don’t wear binders while working out, if you have bad body dysmorphia try finding a sports bra with a similar result. Do NOT size down in a binder, going with the measurements of your body will ensure it fits right and does what you need it to in a healthier way. Always cough when you put your binder on or take it off, it helps loosen the mucus in your lungs. If youre ever weezing while binding give your body a little break. Do stretches daily if you can! Some other things to know Binding will increase your body temperature, drink lots of water. Each binder should have its individual wash instructions on its website. If you plan on having top surgery try to not bind as often, it can cause issues with the skins elasticity which can make the surgery more difficult. Sobre a cicatrização do palato, as fotos de baixo são após sete meses da cirurgia. Aqui os pontos do palato começaram a cair em uma semana,lembro do céu da boca ter ficado todo branco, (tipo uma áfita, sinal que estava sarando) depois vermelho , e com um leve mal hálito. No procedimento o De. Marco tirou um pedacinho do palato , bem no canto esquerdo, e colocou uma massinha ali.Acredito eu que seja pra poder puxar melhor a musculatura e fazer a junção. Essa massinha depois de alguns dias caiu , o Gu cuspiu e eu me assustei achei que era pedaço da boca dele 🤣,mas era só o curativo. Onde o curativo saiu ficou um rebaixado(tipo quando extraí dente do siso) , que aos poucos está ficando normal. O que não pode acontecer na cicatrização é ficar verde, com cheiro muito forte (tipo de podre), ou haver um grande sangramento após alguns dias. Um pequeno sangramento é normal aqui sangrou uma semana mais ou menos,pela boca e nariz. Antes da cirurgia Gu tinha a uvula bífida, ( sininho da garganta dividido em dois) Após a cirurgia eu brinco que o Dr. Roubou a uvula dele kkkkk não tem mais. Mas não vai influencia na fala , o trabalho da uvula é ,serve como um alarme de que algo está apassando pela nossa garganta e que é hora de fechar as vias respiratórias para que não entre nem na cavidade nasal, nem na traqueia, ou seja, é uma válvula que se fecha para impedir que a comida chegue ao nariz ou faça com que nos engasguemos com ela. Aqui não aconteceu de abrir, mas isso acontece as vezes de abrir um pontinho e outro em alguns casos, as chamadas fístulas. Não se preocupem , na maioria das vezes fecham sozinhas, outras vezes é feito uma cirurgia pra fechar e já vi alguns casos delas não atrapalharem em nada. - @fissuradosnoamor on Instagram

Es importante recordar que la presencia de papá constituirá un apoyo insustituible para la futura madre y que deberá también formar un vinculo con ese bebé. Apoyemos más a los padres, brindemos mayores espacios para que ellos hablen de sus preocupaciones, sus miedos y sus expectativas sobre la paternidad.
