I thought wrong lol - I’ve made more bad calls than I have good calls. I’ve let people go that I should have kept. I’ve let people down, that have counted on me. I’ve made so many mistakes. I’ve also kept people that needed to be set free. Was too lenient on some. Didn’t handle things the way I should have. I’ve lost friends. I’ve lost people’s respect. I’ve even lost my own sometimes. - I’ve also grown. More in 6 yrs than the previous 31. “I’ve learned so much” is an understatement. I’ve never given up. Came close... I’ve tried to be better. I’ve tried to help others be better. I’ve given opportunities, and watched people soar. - To everyone who has been part of it. Thank you. For the record, I’m not being “silent”. I’m done talking. You know the difference. There are people you can attempt to educate til you’re blue in the face, but any effective racist or card-carrying white supremacist will at least be smart enough to play dumb when put in check. It’s called plausible deniability. At this point in my life, I’m about action. My energy, focus, and know-how are more effective in making lasting change through other means. So now, that’s where I’m investing my efforts. Some of y’all are just going to have to trust me on that. It’s great to make noise and be seen, but also let’s not forget that, on missions, stealth is an invaluable asset at minimum and a super power at best. I appreciate all the awareness we’re creating. But just know that not all silence is passivity, apathy, fear, or paralysis. Some of it is strategic. Anger and disruption are important. But so is quiet conviction, strategy, focus, and finesse.
