𝐘𝐎𝐆𝐀 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐇𝐈𝐏𝐒 - Try them, tag & share with your friends 🤍 The top two places in the body where you store your STRESS are the HIPS and SHOULDERS so today I wanted to share my favourite poses that will help you unlock your hips. The hips can be known as the emotional centrepoint of our bodies which is why often when we are stressed out our hips do tighten and store this energy. So with this in mind please approach these poses gently and with kindness, do not force your hips to open! 🛑 Start with holding them for 15-20secs each and then gradually build up to 3 minutes. Practice with consistency and your hips will begin to soften and release 🧘♀️ High lunge 🧘♀️ Goddess pose 🧘♀️ Standing pigeon - use the wall or surface to help you balance 🧘♀️ Knee to thigh stretch 🧘♀️ Butterfly pose - hold the ankles, softly flutter the knees which helps warm up the hips then hold still 🧘♀️ Yogi squat - if the full pose isn’t accessible yet take a cushion or a block to sit on to help your hips gently open 🤍 🧘♀️ Double pigeon 🧘♀️ Lifted Lizard 🧘♀️ Low Lunge 🧘♀️ Seated figure 4 I know with the worry and uncertainty around us all atm that your stress maybe higher than usual, I feel it too!
