Hi friends 💛 I’m so excited to share this pumpkin sheet cake recipe with you all! It will make your home smell like thanksgiving dinner. . I love this recipe because it’s: . 1. MOIST AF 2. Incredibly Flavourful 3. The Perfect Treat to have with a cup of tea. . It’s also lathered in chai spiced #veganbuttercream and you really cannot go wrong with that! . As always, this recipe is #glutenfree and #nutfree. I will be entering this cake in the @bestofvegan #bestofveganfall contest! . Pumpkin Sheet Cake Recipe: . Dry Ingredients: . 2 Cups GF Oat Flour (sub a gf flour blend) 2 Tbsp Arrowroot Powder 1 Tbsp Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend 1 Tsp Cinnamon ½ Tsp Ground Ginger 1 Tsp Salt 2 Tsp Baking Powder 1 Tsp Baking Soda . Wet Ingredients: . 1 ¼ Cup Brown or Coconut Sugar 1 Cup Unsweetened Pumpkin Puree ¼ Cup Unsweetened Apple Sauce ½ Cup Oil of Choice ½ Cup Vanilla Plant Mylk 1 Flax Egg 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice . Directions: . 1. Preheat oven to 350 D F and line a sheet pan with parchment paper 2. Prepare your flax egg (1 tbsp ground flax + 2.5 tbsp of water, whisk, set aside to thicken for 10 minutes) and your vegan butter mylk (½ cup plant mylk + 1 tbsp of lemon juice, whisk, set aside to curdle) 3. In a large bowl, whisk together your oil, sugar, and flax egg. 4. Whip in your pumpkin puree, apple sauce, and oat mylk. 5. In another bowl combine your dry ingredients until smooth. 6. Add your dry ingredients to wet and combine until smooth. 7. Pour batter into your sheet pan 8. Flatten your batter out with a spatula or slam your pan on the counter. 9. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. 32 was good for me! 10. Let cool in your pan for about 10 - 20 minutes. 11. Once it’s semi- cool, remove from the pan and transfer it to a cooling rack. 12. Once it’s fully cooled down, lather it with frosting! . Chai Buttercream: . 1/3 cup vegan butter 4.5 tbsp chai tea 3 1/2 cups icing sugar . Directions: . Combine all ingredients together using a mixer until smooth! Add your icing sugar 1 cup at a time. You may need more or less depending on your vegan butter! . - @sugaredcoconut on Instagram

Недавно встретился с другом, который давно работает в кофе, у него свои кофейни. Он забежал к нам на открытие ермолаевского, поздравил, выпил фильтр, и я спросил как чашка. Ответ меня немного смутил - кофе горит; а у меня нет ни горечи, ни жжёности во вкусе, мне вкусно. Со мной что-то не так или кофе не ок? А что значит «ок»? Кофе горит, это как? И я часто встречаюсь с таким в работе. Как владельцу кофейни мне достаточно: кофе нравится или нет, сладкий/кислый и тд., но горит, что это значит? Давно хотел сходить на профессиональные курсы дабы развить свой вкус, найти ответ на все свои вопросы и вот свершилось, попал на Q cupping к Полине Владимирове @polinaandybutch. Сказать, что всё перевернулось сверх на голову не сказать ничего. Трёхдневный курс оказался очень сложным для меня: пробовать кофе из 4-5 чашек на пяти и больше разных станциях, научиться описывать вкус и распознавать дефекты, пробовать разные кислоты, сладость давольно деликатна в восприятии и распознать ее в чашке очень сложно — это вообще отдельная песня) Всем рекомендую! Особенно тем, кто хочет развиваться как профессионал и разговаривать на другом языке с гостем или поставщиком, планирует жарить кофе и совершенствовать свои навыки языка. Понять, что ваше восприятие отличного вкуса может быть очень далёким от понимания «правильно» (давольно сомнительный аргумент, но когда после 10ой калибровки у всех в группе без разбора и обсуждений на выходе одинаковый хороший кофе и практически у всех одинаковая плохая чашка - это прекрасно). Знать куда движется индустрия в целом, и что стоит искать в кофе - очень здорово. Пс. итоговый экзамен я не сдал, но от этого ещё больше желание пробовать и развиваться дальше ) - @sokolin.denis on Instagram
