Generational holding patterns... ancestral curses... they are so elusive and abstract, yet their seniority holds so much unconscious power over you. Immense amounts of suffering stemming from the identification with bullshit thought patterns that were never yours to begin with; inherited, lodged into you through epigenetic code like an unwarranted shitty memento. As blatant as familial diabetes or as insidious as your pathological need for action. To do, to act, to disregard rest. To shun your basic needs, convincing yourself youve transcended your humanity ultimately due to intrinsic feelings of worthlessness and shame. Why cant you rest? Why dont you know why? Why do you feel like nothing will ever happen for you unless you do it all by yourself? Why cant you receive in any form? Why do you feel so isolated? As if you are a starving, mangy pup in a world of dogs forced to fend for itself, hurt and weak, inefficient. Nihilistic and resentful at this world, at this horrid fate of yours, youre dragged in chains. Perhaps its your unintegrated, hyper-accelerated masculine principal glorifying culture that has instilled in you the belief that you aint shit but the bar code slapped on your left ass cheek directly out the womb before you took your first breath? Maybe that has led to your practiced lack of self-compassion? Perhaps its due to the fact that your mother was berated as a child, dubbed lazy when honoring her bodys natural necessity for rest, forced to do things she had no desire to do, learning through a myriad of experiences that not all of her was acceptable, lovable. That she had better learn to turn away from her internal guidance system to not only gain conditional love and approval but just to survive in this world. Perhaps she grew up to become a workaholic, treating you the same way she was treated in a misguided attempt to protect you, forever gone throughout the days to pay bills and provide for you practically, neglecting your emotional needs.
