Your heart breaks while your blood boils and you wonder what you can do to stop injustice and violence. And maybe you think of all the people who have suffered because of C19 or the resulting shutdown but don’t know what you can do to help. And maybe you think of all the victims of human trafficking and wonder how you can fight such evil. And maybe think of the environment and wonder what you can do to live in harmony with this precious earth. And…and….and…. I get it. It’s a lot to think about. It’s a lot to process and feel. Especially if you feel overwhelmed with your own personal obstacles that often seem insurmountable. Since overwhelm stops any momentum that can lead to change, just begin with one small step. Cook or buy a weeks worth of meals for someone out of a job. Learn more about how to heal racism (I have learned a lot from @racismrecovery). Get involved with organizations like @ourrescue. Learn ways to reduce your carbon foot print. Once you stop believing you can’t make a difference and start committing to making one, ideas and actions to take get clear. And keep doing your own inner work!! The less overwhelming your own life feels, the more likely you will be one of the sane-crazy enthusiastic ones that joins forces with other sane-crazy love warriors to positively impact this world!
