When @drcrazyofficial first showed me this Audi CQ from @priordesign that him, @andreas_belzek and @jeanpierrekraemer designed, I fell in love. While I always liked the lines of the CQ (S2). I always felt it missed on the aggressiveness of the URQ and Sport Quattro. This kit, in my opinion corrects that. The front end is very much an evolution of the SQ maw, and the flairs just flow. 1985 Audi Sport quattro (1984-1986) Engine : 2133 cc 5 cylinder turbo KKK – 306 hp Transmission : 4WD 5 speed Top speed : 250 km/h Weight : 1.290 kg Only 214 produced De Sport quattro werd door Audi in een kleine serie gebouwd om te voldoen aan de rallyreglementering voor ‘groep B-wagens’ in het World Rally Championship midden de jaren tachtig. Tussen februari 1984 en januari 1986 werden er 200-tal wagens gebouwd, net genoeg voor de homologatie van de rallywagen. Vandaar de zeldzaamheid van deze Sport quattro. Deze tweedeurscoupé met een aluminium twintigkleppenmotor was uitgerust met de quattro-vierwielaandrijving. Zijn lijn is nauw verwant met die van de originele ur-quattro. Toch verschilt hij op heel wat vlakken: zijn wielbasis werd korter (minder gewicht en inertie) en hij was voorzien van specifieke koetswerkelementen. La Sport quattro a été construite en petite série par Audi pour se conformer au règlement « Groupe B » du championnat du monde des rallyes du milieu des années 1980. Entre février 1984 et janvier 1986, quelque 200 voitures ont été construites, juste assez pour l’homologation de la voiture de rallye. D’où la rareté de cette Sport quattro. Ce coupé deux portes, doté d’un moteur en aluminium à vingt soupapes, est équipé de la traction intégrale quattro. Sa ligne est étroitement liée à celle de l’ur-quattro originelle. This Tamiya R/C kit recreates the classic Audi DTM racing car as raced during the DTM 1991 season. The Audi V8 touring car had a 456hp 3.6-liter V8 which graced the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) racing series in Germany. In that season, it took four victories overall and carried Frank Biela to the drivers’ title.
