Okay prepare for a long ass ramble about em, you can keep scrolling if you’d like lmao I genuinely cannot believe they’re two years old now, it doesn’t feel like it. They had kind of an ew start, I was a younger bean then, fairly new to Instagram and fairly new to creating closed species. I took very heavy inspiration from a different pair of closed species Hymmions and Cerukomods. Please don’t judge me tho, once again, I was a young, inexperienced, cringe ass bean, I’m a changed person now lol. I was able to work it out with the species owner, and I luckily was not blacklisted and I didn’t cause drama, so they were changed to something similar to the Lumni you all know and love today (so pls don’t come for me it was resolved two years ago, I still feel bad about it sometimes) They’ve gone through lots and lots of changes since their original design. They were originally more canine-like, since I liked drawing dogs, and I think I took some inspo from Doberman dogs. Over the years I started liking snakes more and more, and added more snake-like features in their anatomy and their descriptions. While their anatomy changed, their lore stayed pretty much the same, and I finally wrote it out like a month ago. I’ve so loved working on them so far, and seeing the community grow, and I hope that it continues to grow, and more and more people will become interested in the Lumni.
